I prefer the light weight of the Carbon F3. The F5 Koroyd is significantly heavier but it is better ventilated for the hottest days. The F5 ece is likely close to the F3 in weight. They also fit quite a bit differently so I’d try them on if I were you and go from there. Hope that was helpful and didn’t make your decision more difficult!
The liner and cheek pads are removable. The cheek pads have cutouts for your ears. I imagine you would have no problem installing the speakers. You may need a mounting adapter to attach the Bluetooth module to the outside of the helmet as it’s not a smooth curved outer surface.
Many You Tubers are saying the F3 weighs 2 pounds and 9 ounces, which would be 2.56 lbs. So they should not be making videos. The F3 is 17% lighter than the F5. The F3 is 20% lighter than the F4. Thanks for the actual weights. Do you find all that ventilation cold for snowmobile riding?
If they are a size small or medium they might actually be that light. Even though my XL is a little heavier it feels super light and I’m really happy with the fit. I haven’t ridden with it in the winter yet but I suspect it will be a little warmer than my F5 without the wind stopper put in the liner. I’ll do a comparison video this winter 👍 Thanks for your comments
Well, it looks like getting the F3 carbon "DOT approved" and calling it the F5 is costing us an extra 40%, or $200.00. Such intervention. Now you know why cars cost so much today, and so many other things.
If you could only have one, would you take the F3 or F5? Im about to replace an F5 ECE helmet that got crash tested. Contemplating the F3

Do any of these have cutouts for speakers at the ears? I use Cardo Packtalk comms in all of my helmets.

The F5 ECE goes on sale and would be a great option. The Koroyd model is very pricey and not light enough
Your duffle bag full of Lego still?
Duplo 😂
