Seeing his work makes me question why designers limit themselves and their designs to one type of body and size. So many beautiful shapes, angles and curves coming down. Truly a designer for humanity.

Because other designers don't think plus size people should wear their designs.
BUT Christian Siriano didn't always design for all sizes. I recall seeing him on Project Runway and he was not happy when he had to design for a curvy gal. He griped about not being a designer for plus sized women and used his model's size/shape as an excuse for the look being bad. He did her no favors with the look he created and came close to being eliminated. All that said, I do applaud him for growing and learning that all women of all shapes and sizes are beautiful.
With everything going on in the world, you've got nothing better to do than this? If fashion is your job, sure....but otherwise? Lame

The variety of body shapes on this runway is so damned refreshing. As a plus sized woman, it’s so nice to see a show that has versatile pieces that look like they can be worn by anyone

Sadly you still have to search alot to find that.

J'adore! Christian can dress any BODY. The fact that he always represents so many different sized models in his collection is one of the (but not the only) reasons that makes him special.
That second plus sized look with the cutouts was divine!!!
I love Christian's designs! I love that he uses curvy girls! His couture can go commercial with minimal tweaking. A truly great designer.
I love that Christian dresses everyone for everything. There was something for everyone in this collection, for any event. Really a great collection.

i like how CS sticks to traditional show where models walk normally and had multiple outfits. Nice to see them girls appearing 2 or 3 times in the same runway.
Christian truly loves women! As others have mentioned, different skin tones different body types and everybody looks beautiful. He knows how to dress and cut clothes for women’s bodies. Period And point blank! This just look like an amazing fashion show which it was and women looked amazing. He talks about his love for his sister and his mother and you can see it in his clothes because he just understands the female form. I absolutely adore him!
Yes to all the comments about the variety being refreshing, it's wonderful and some of those dresses are things I'd actually wear! Also, I love that he doesn't separate out his plus models, they're a part of the show mixed in with the traditional size girls, not a nod with one or two plus girls at the end. They're right in the mix, just like in the real world. Such a wonderful thing to see.

You are sooo right. Loved seeing how his dresses looked on the curvy women, as I am one. Very refreshing and his designs are awesome. The only one I had to laugh at was that poor model with the bean bag on her head and top! I've never liked so many of one collection before. Well done Christian! Well done!

It would be nice if the girls look less mean and angry though
I’m guessing that’s just caused by the makeup artists but not a good look. so many of the women look incredibly mean and angry and just unattractive with what looks like scowls on their faces.
Every model looked stunning. A special shout-out to my full figure sisters, y'all set the runway to the highest bar.
Christian, killing it!!!! SO knowledgeable about how to dress a woman's body, any woman's body, and make the most of it. And his choice of fabrics is always perfection.
He is probably the only designer you could wear in reality. Always loved him on PR he picked deep skin tones and plus size. May he enjoy all his success
The fact that he showcases women in all shapes and sizes makes me want to give him business. I hope other designers follow suit -- but I won't forget who was the first.
I was surprised to see plus sized women in his show, especially when he said on Project Runway that he hated designing for “fat women”. While I’m pleased to see he has included different body shapes and sizes, he didn’t do a great job of showing them off to their best advantage. He used bodice shapes that didn’t flatter them at all, until the more formal dresses. Still, he did make the effort and he is enormously talented, so I’m hoping for better things from him in future.

Another great show and example of this man's commitment to body awareness. Will say that the first few outfits felt very Trinity from The Matrix, especially those worn with sunglasses.
My sweet lord, Christian is uber talented! I LOVE that he designs for regular shaped women. And the dresses aren't just made "bigger" from a design for size 0 women, they're custom created for our bodies. They fit and look great on the models! Just wish I could afford his stuff! I love his work.
I don't know how many times I died, but when that first velvet dress came out..😻 So many wearable items and bless you for using normal sized women for your models!! Awesome collection!! Bravo!
The dark dress at timestamp 8:24 reminds me of a spanish dancer sea creature. The movement of the ruffles as the model walked was so hypnotic. The sheen on the fabric changed with every little movement, and was transcendant. Christian, you always wow me!!
So many amazing fabrics, but that one was my favorite! So beautiful.
Didn't love the 1st collection but it got better. Liked the bright blue collection. Some of the black were nice, especially the velvet ones. And I appreciate his inclusion of real women!
The plus size models were all stunning in their fits. A little curve and jiggle made the whole look come together. More of this please!

WOW!! What a treat to see inclusiveness in design and models. Loved so many of those dresses - just wish I was a little younger (no Medicare dresses - smile). Enjoying each new style and the fabrics as presented. Truly a genius designer.

First, let me say I LOVE Christian Siriano!!! I have been a fan of his fashion taste since his contestant days on Project Runaway. I have always LOVED his designs. What I especially love about this video is that he has women of all different shades & sizes. I feel that I'm included. Christian, do you have a fashion line that I can afford? I would be a loyal customer!
Some really spectacular pieces this season. I love the Tudor-esque gowns especially. I'm confused about the grey trash bag pieces, however. It's not a glamorous look. Those denim pieces were amazing though! And I love the all body shapes, too! It's important to show models of average and above average sizes. Endomorphs love fashion, too!
Love, love, love. Don't be offended but I, as a 60 yo, would wear any of these garments except the top/head covering.
My point is, not only does Christian design for multiple sizes, he also designs for various age bracelets. Yes, I do dress young for my age. Whatever that means but I have been told that.

Wow those clothings were so beautiful!! He made the clothes seemed as if they were available for people of all sizes! They were fabulous!! I've always loved his way of designing from day one when he was on Project Runway.. He goes big and the fashion shows it!! I would say he's holding 1st place for me when it comes to High Fashion..This definitely shows why he won Project Runway so young...When you got it you just got it... the gift to design💯😊💓🙏🙏🙏🙏
I was loving the cadet blue color story … and then the cobalt appeared!! (I would 💙 to know where I could get my hands on that eyeshadow.) I want those collars NOW for spring!!

Yeah, I saw a homeless person downtown that had the exact same outfit on as one of the models.
I am so happy and thrilled to see that designers today are continuing to embrace fuller figured women in their designs. This is a beautiful line. I’m not a big fan of the color blue, at least not until now. 🔥🔥🔥👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
LOL! I was just telling someone the same thing I love his collection and I’m not a huge fan of blue but he just brought something to the table with this collection! Now I’m obsessed with even blue eyeshadow LOL he is the man!
I love that he had such a huge variety of fabric and silhouettes. He even did great denim pieces.
It takes a great designer with a lot of foresight to make a runway capsule using different fabrics and body types (and I don't mean simply plus size because there were size 2, size 8, size 12 and size 16 models of differing heights). Christian has so much passion and drive. It shows.
So glad they have models who have natural body shapes. Gives a better understanding of how clothes would look. Should expand to include more ranges of body types.
I love that he dresses plus sized models just as beautifully as slim models.
Excellent show. CS does fuller fashion so well. He is creative and the clothes are so complimentary to the body. Not just a size 0 dress puffed up to a larger size….. that almost never works correctly. Bravo CS!

love seeing the different body types of the models -- I have one type and two daughters with different types and its frustrating the way beautiful clothing is always on the endlessly emaciated and leggy bodies of 20 year old models. Ugh! About time we see how clothing is for ALL SIZES! Bravo Christian!
Christian is such a breath of fresh air ! So very talented, and knowledgeable of the human body !!
Love, love, love the Cerulean blue pieces. It's a color we don't see nearly enough of on the runway or in ready-to-wear. So flattering to all skin tones and eye colors. Love the shiny, stripey (silk blue-black velvet?) pieces. Certainly eye catching and they have lovely movement. I also love that he designs for many different body sizes and shapes. Beyond those 3 things the rest of the collection is disappointing. For such a recognized designer he seems to have no sense of line, proportion, continuity or how to make a pattern work for the piece instead of against it.
Clothes that look like they should have a 'wet paint' sign on them, how fun! Great figure flattering styles that include the sleek shine of patent leather. There's a wonderful frisky feeling to that material...I'm LOVING it!
Loved almost all of the shape concepts, fabric choices & colors…plus the seamless inclusion of models. Lots of creative reimagining of classic design elements. His fashion is so watchable, and I love the way that even his more conceptual pieces are so romantic looking.❤️

The last few ballgowns were OMG, stunning, and the black velvet, I live.

I struggled with this line. it is 6am for me. Glad that he drapes curvy people and stays true to himself. I didn't find much appeal from this collection. If I want to look like a mushroom, it can be far cuter than what I saw.
Agree. Some people in the comments are going way out there over this line. Few of them made me giggle.
Nor Siriano nor any of the models attempted to look like a mushroom. If that's the only thing you decided to see out of the whole collection, you're the problem.

When they started walking out in the bright blue outfits, I gasped. So beautiful. There’s so many things from this collection I desperately want!
Fantastic to see plus size models and although some of the outfits were a little unwearable for us mere mortals, quite a lot of wearable pieces x
I don’t usually watch fashion runways, so this is the fist time I’ve seen normal looking women in one, and it was awesome.

@@ponygirlusa Right? A couple of them were obese ... and while I'll be accused of body shaming I only point out the obvious because being that big is unhealthy. We shouldn't shame it but we also shouldn't glorify it.

I congratulate his newfound success. I don't, however, see anything that strikes me as revolutionary or for that matter, any cut or shape that hasn't been done a thousand times. It's a Butterick pattern on speed!
My guess, it sells bc it's .."designer" and relates to an average, untrained shopper.
he really is such a disappointment from his project runway days. I really thought he had vision but it’s the same season after season, and with the stunt casting of fat models he projects himself as the voice of the masses but I find it disingenuous.
The portly models thing is strictly for attention and praise. It's only reasonable that clothes should flatter the wearer, therefore, designed accordingly.
