Love this! Thank you for speaking truth! Many preach on fleeing sin, but they don’t preach that God gives you power to overcome.. (and that’s through Holy Spirit)
I preach to anyone around me that I am Holy, not through any works Ive done, but by the cross and the blood and the resurrection.
Something clicks inside of you when you accept the identity of righteousness that Jesus paid for with His blood. Holiness like becomes a fruit.
I used to think I had to spend x amount of time to not have desire for sin, until I started to receive the identity of righteousness. That’s when everything changed.
Now Holy Spirit and I have a great time. And I’m not trying to avoid sin(as if it’s my master)
Also I’ll add, it doesn’t mean temptation doesn’t try to come, but it’s lost its power. The desire for those things is gone.
My desire is Him now. ✌🏻👍🏻😃
