Dad skater here....i cant be choosy as kids skate too so cost is important. Normally pick top spec shoes that retail for 70 to 90 quid for less than 30...but I can't choose color....currently in some brown state shoes.....Next up red and black dcs 🤪
es shoe sale during the holidays picked up accel slims, quattros and swift 1.5s for only $18-$26 a pair. i stock up every for the year every holiday season.
I just found out you don't ollie out of transition to get air. Maybe a video on that. Do you hit the copeing to go over the top of transition? Does the bump on the coping affect how high you go or how far away from the ramp you are while in the air? How is air afffected by steel coping, pool coping, no-ping, etc. Just generally how do you get air in transition? Is it like snowboarrding, where you just kind of pump at the top again and fly out and the shape of the ramp aims you back into it? I've never seen a video on this topic and I spend all my free time watching skate videos, even while I'm at work.
Years ago when KMart was going out of business I found a pair of BritishKnight “skate” shoes for $2.50 a pair. I bought 4 pairs of them and each lasted me at least 3 months of park skating at least 3 times a week, thin soles great board feel, just not built to hold up.
Great review. How do you find the Omen compared to the LRABs in terms of size and also fit? I always find the LRABs a bit narrow until they stretch out.
I've been rocking the Emerica clearance for awhile, quality stuff, but I find the soles wear out faster than vans, which is a bummer, but my vans always get thrashed and rip at the stitching and the rest of the shoe wears really quickly...I would love the vans sole on an emerica upper
When I was broke and unemployed I would go on emerica and get their shoes that were going out of style. I would only shop on Labor Day bc that’s when they would have a massive sale. I would stick up on skate gear that would last me for the whole year. I like the look of the omen hi tops. I have like 3 different pairs of them. I don’t like skating them bc they r too wide, after a few high Ollie’s my laces r shredded
I like Indicator model (low or high, I like it all). It has good grip, durable toecap and suede. The downside of it is that the shoelace is very easy to break, especially the first and second hole where you mostly Ollie from it. Overall, good shoe with good price.
honestly man, Emerica, Fallen and Etnies are my 3 fav type of skate shoes. tried some other brands long ago, but i always stuck with these 3, because they last the longest for me. I would give Fallen a try if you have yet to have a pair.
@@versnellingspookie Actually tried a pair in the past, one size way too big but even after wearing down the edge the suede is still 100% there. Ill consider getting another pair, maybe per right size. ( Yes, I did size down, but i guess my feet are smaller than i thought)
@@jkdootsu4400 nah, converse have their sizing messed up. I'm a size 11 but a size 10.5 is still way too big for me. Turns out a 9.5 or a size 10 would be a better fit for me
@@versnellingspookie yeah i tried to consider that but them shoes are just too long for my feet in general. Just looking at the shape my feet don't naturally fit in them. Currently got the Adidas busenitz ii but they are falling apart
I paid £50 for them Winkowski’s and I thought I had a bargain and now you’re telling me you got them for $23? Ok with shipping and import tax it works out more but I’m happy with them.
What shoes should I try next?
maybe Fallen if you havent tried them yet
Lakai
D3.
Vans gilbert crockett high
I am partial to Adidas slip on skates shoes
I've been living off the Emerica clearance section for the last year and a half. Always good stuff on there. Shirts and hoodies, too.

Sole Tech always has awesome sales for all their brands. They rule.
I love trying different brands at closeout prices. Emerica and Etnies always have good shoes on sale. Fallen has some good sales as well.

what model of Emerica are they ?
Omen Hi
You didn’t mention these are the Winkowski’s? Come on man!
they are the winkoski model 🎱
Emerica are all I buy now. They last forever and are cheap
they look like huf classics, which i love and they dont make anymore. i might see if i can pick up a pair
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the DC Lynx shoes, they're sort of like Dunks, but feel way lighter on your feet. Great video as always!

Anyone heard of Straye?
I tried one of their first models, haven't since though.

I got the Dinosaur Jr color way of these Omen Highs. Love 'em.

Bought these full price when they came out and a second time when they were on sale. Still on the first pair crazy enough.

Hi! What kind of shoes?
I love the design of last resort, but they are quite pricey and hard to get, anyone know what shoes are still simple and perhaps cheaper
Chuck Taylors, especially their CTAS line, they are a shoe made stronger than regular chucks specifically for skating

1:48 Come to Jesus today, let Him show you the way. You're drifting too far from the shore.
Amen! ♥
Do the America feel similar to blazers or vans?
Similar to vans

Did the same with etnies all of soletechs shoes I’d recommend
Put a hole in some blazer mids within 2 sessions 🤷🏽♂️. Also confident I could do the same to some emericas
non, no... that was definitely a session to brag about. LOVED your skating in this episode.
Thanks dude!
I actually love the flick on brand new emericas, makes me pretty lazy tho 🤣
ngl never really fucked with the shoe designs from emerica, but these actually look nice and i would wear these for sure.
Winkowski model! He is the best!
i love e-murkas
5:40 , that's taking it easy ? 🤪Still ripping.
This month it’s the best. Next month he’ll make a video about why he hates them. Lol
Damn bro I didn't know you could skate Washington like that lol
my 3 year old has those w the cute 8 ball on em ...
TF is Clearwater
Those are so sick. I'd ride those for sure. I may order a pair
Gotta have a good soul. ♥
But that flaming 8 ball tho, ha ha ha ha. That's why they're 30.
Doesn’t want to be a walking billboard - carhartt might as well be blinking neon 🤦♂️
