Ukraine has noone for what I have seen Ukriaine has done very well to stay in the war for the past two years and not giving ground to the Russians with western support of course but for small military they done something that not many could do. Nato did the right thing in the first place and put troops in to Ukraine in beginning and told Putin to fuck off there have been no war. Russia taking Nato on in a conventional war would have been a complete disaster for Russia and got their asses kick. It came down to a weak western leaders could not act to do the right thing you had 8 weeks knowing he was going invade I remember Biden telling us so and yet Nato did nothing. As much I want peace for Ukriane for what cost comming into the fold of Nato and Europe would help Ukriane it would even help Russia to bad no one sees that. Orban is the only politician doing what a politician should do: to seek for a peaceful end to any conflict. His visit to both Ukraine and Russia clearly demonstrates that it is only RUSSIA willing to talk and make peace. Sergey Lavrov´s comments ring true now: "It will now be settled on the battlefield" Ukraine will be forced to surrender when their army collapses, or when Zelensky is overthrown by his own people.
I'm afraid that's true but the West might never back off. They might be more suicidal than we realize.

If there is no diplomacy, the only solution to the conflict is a military defeat of one of the parties.
There is no way that Ukraine, with or without the help from the west, is able to defeat Russia.
Waiting for Ukraine to get into a more favorable negotiation position is a fools errand.
The Ukrainian position will only further degrade and Russian demands will only become harsher.
The Russian position has been stable since before the war started. I don't think it's going to get worse for Ukraine diplomatically but worse militarily.

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time.
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.

NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).

Russia is responsible for the war? How about the 2014 coup to replace a leader who wanted to uphold the constitution which stated Ukraine is to remain neutral.
