11:18 7/23/23 Listening 🎧 here on the Chesapeake Bay of Virginia.. 77° ☁️ SE 7mph wind🍃..... Thanks, Edge for sharing tonights CBS Radio 🎙️ Mystery Theater drama. Good night, Everyone.May you ALL rest peacefully tonight 🙏🏼
Sorry I didn’t get a chance to wish you pleasant dreams before I fell asleep right after the story last night. Hope your weather is more tolerable. It seems everyone everywhere around the world is suffering badly from heat problems. I am even more appreciable of these stories from Sir Edge! 😉🇨🇦❤ Hope you slept well, my friend.
@@docholliday1970 Heat wave hitting here starting Monday here in Topeka,Kansas. Supposed to be 100 to 106 degrees every day until next Sunday. We average in Topeka, Kansas two 100 degree days in Topeka on average every summer. Will be very unusually warm here!
@@stevenjohnson8571, Yes,will be unusually hot here for next 7 days with no chance of rain here for next 10 days! Hundred degree temperatures here start on Monday!
07-23-23 I enjoyed this story very much, it was well written. It touched me especially, as I had five uncles fight in three different wars - Navy and Army, before PTSD was recognized, so none were helped as Veterans. I wonder how many more times mankind will feel the need to have to fight others in a war, instead of finding a better way to work out problems that should be solved with words and understanding - instead of weapons of mass destruction. Thank you for this story, a reminder at this time as the film of “ Oppenheimer” is being shown. Being forced to develop the atomic bomb may have saved the Western world, but Oppenheimer himself realized that in doing so, “he had now become Death itself”, and sadly, he never recovered emotionally from the part he played. When we hurt others, we also hurt ourselves. A special award ( other than money stipends) should have been given to all War Widows, for their part of keeping the home fires burning - no matter which war. Goodnight to all, from Southern Ontario, Canada🇨🇦, 43* N. 🙏 and ❤
@@TheEdgeOfNightfall Thank you for providing these stories. Most often, listening to someone tell a story softens the stresses of our human mind, soul, spirit - as we have all experienced since we were young. But “ stories” can also help stimulate a “ percolating” idea, settle one’s thoughts, or just simply allow ourselves to listen to soothing voices that induce peaceful sleep. However, we can even learn something we didn’t know. I believe younger generations are missing a great deal from not reading books, or listening to stories such as these presented here. They don’t seem to have learned to problem-solve or dream-up their own ideas - to be able to mentally “stretch” themselves in everyday situations as we, ah-hem, “slightly” older folks have been able to. Thank you again, my friend!
7-23-33 10:20 p.m., the heat finally broke for the evening, sitting at a wonderfully breezy 67F. Enjoying a cigar and a little Abelour a'bunadh....pleasant dreams 😊
I guess I’m late to the party. I am ready for a good mystery or spooky story tonight in Bloomington MN. It’s 7/25/23. God bless you all. He has blessed me!
