There were others that were higher. They broke their record for highest sale price at Saratoga then broke it again. The last car of the day was a Ford GT that sold for over $600k! I saw those and wasn’t sure. I looked it up online and I believe they did, at least in 1964. They are listed in the GTO option package I found. Also, all the images of 1964 GTO engines had them. Thanks for watching.

GTO’s didn’t come for the factory with crome valve covers and air cleaner

Yes they did ,in fact all had chrome valve covers and air filter
