"zero" is nothing. if you start with t4 it means you already have "something" that doesn't clearly defines the "zero to hero" title. if you make a vid. that starts with t4 why not title with with "t4 to hero"? right. go check the video of flaccid baron and mogdone who starts the real zero to hero content.
Q3 is better than Q1 and Q2 in ALL situations, if you do not have Q3 unlocked, use Q1 for PVP, open world bosses and Q2 for general PVE, always use W2 in open world. And your overall fighting capability is reduced if you do not have Q3 unlocked, but does not make an insanely huge difference, I would assume your specs are pretty low (both on general axes and battleaxe), so you might be getting crushed due to the IP difference, and this build itself is more shifted to survivability while farming mobs in open world, you can always try to run away from situations with soldier boots and W2. Q3 is very important in PVP, especially with battleaxe, since you have better chances of landing the E after opponent is rooted by the third Q.
Tanking in Albion involves aggro-management and often target calling which are both not relevant in a solo setting. Basically you can use any weapon with a lot of sustain and/or self-heal which will make you feel more tanky in solo PvE if that‘s what you‘re asking? A good weapon for solo with great sustain is the battleaxe. This is likely closest to what it would feel like to playing a tank-class solo in other games. A further option is the recently buffed Quarterstaff. Perhaps something like: Battleaxe, Facebreaker or Torch, Hunter Hood or Mage Cowl, Mercenary Jacket, Soldier Boots. That should give you good sustain and is viable both for PvE and PvP. Hope that helps.
