This game will go down in Dota history. By the end of the Bo5, every team member on OG had pulled their weight and absolutely deserved that win ! sooo happy for them :)
I think topson was carried this series. He died so many times unnecessarily. Many he does good other times but today, this series, he was carried hard. Ceb for sure mvp this game, Ana for game 5. Topson wasn't mvp any game.
@@H2oRiz LGD game plan was to focus on enemy mid and snowball. They gave Topson a very hard time. But that created some space for others. For eg ceb got space in this game. Later Topson was able to recover.
@@H2oRiz Its because TOPSON is an extremely aggressive mid player so if he gets space he will have one mission and thats going around the map and destroying enemy farm and getting kills. The same as SUMAIL but more aggressive. That means the enemy cant give topson space and have to cut him down early game otherwise they will regret it. After topson goes around the map and gets kills and dies often a lot of space is usually created for ANA and that means ana will simply come out of farming and carry the game. So no topson didnt fuck up. It's his playstyle and LGD knows that and that's why the focus him so much.

1:03:26 Ame (Morphling) gets juked by Ana (PL) illusion. --- Also, LGD had two tier 3 towers down for a long time but they forgot to take down the shrines, which allowed JeRax to burst heal Ana --- critical error by LGD.
While it was a great play. I don't think it would have decided the game. I think Ana still has BB and so were 2 other OG. Had Ceb not jumping in, he would have lived too, which makes it 3 people alive at least, not counting Ana, to guard against Ame morph + 2 as Ana probably would be able to take out Tusk before he dies had Ceb not jumping in, who along with Bloodseeker has no BB. The call simply sealed the game and ends LGD hope of a comeback. There are more significant moment, such as Ana selling item to buy back which wins them the fight, their 2 minutes push delay with Ana illusion confused LGD, LGD hesitation to push high ground, Ceb catching Ame at bot which gave them 2 lane and one barrack. It was a great game, the call was just the cherry on top.
You guys noticed it after the "Ceeeeb" call? If you look closely after that teamfight all OG's buybacks are all replenished, so that just means OG are so sufficient and strategic when it comes to Buybacks during TI8, so basically speaking, no matter what happens they already win that teamfight, because OG already forced and controlled LGD to start a clash with their buybacks on a good timings. Next Level Play I think they mastered the art of Buyback I dont freaking know why there are people saying OG's TI8 win was a fluke, I really dont understand that statement, it seems all the haters really underestimated OG's 2018-19 Roster at all.
Ame crying while drunk and saying sorry to Somnus stating he was "noob" and his morph was "noob" brought me back to this video, even though I watched this already a million times. Still, huge respect to BOTH teams for putting an intense fight. 👏🙌
@littlecienbak no time stamp. He meant the entire game 4. He cried and apologized to Somnus and called himself and his morph noob. Search it in the news.
This game still haunts Ame until today and its been 5years. My man cried during his Birthday because of this. You'll get it next time Ame #UncrownedKing
Ame was still devastated by his morph four years ago. Hoping for Ame to heal from his loss. I'm rooting for you to comeback and get the aegis. Still the uncrowned king 🔥
Watching this after god knows how many times. The romance of men who put in countless hours of hard work to get the chance to compete on this grand stage.
Nah man, when you're in the grand finals of TI you play til the end. You even saw that in the semifinals this year, EG not calling it until their ancient was more or less dead.
I am not a pro but if lgd had taken down the shrines the fight at 1:03 would have been in lgd's favor. it would also reduce the impact of buyback turn arounds.. what are your thoughts on this?.. P.S I am no pro and not claiming to be one.. just asking if this would have been a good stratergy
IF they tried taking down the shrine they would have risked showing themselves allowing LGD to be initiated on by OG and become forced to take a losing fight. And Rosh was the next objective which seemed a lot more important.
1:16:56 Topson attacked Ancient Prowler Shaman 1:17:05 Fy shiva’s hit the ancient again 1:17:10 ceb’s iconic call also taunted the ancient 1:17:11 it used the stomp skill which reduced the base armor by 50 percent which made lgd more vulnerable to Ana’s attack
you cannot discount how much jerax impacted the game with his clutch heals and relocate plays. damn the guy really doesnt have anything else to prove after ti8 and ti9
this game was LGD's when they destroyed 2 tower inside OG's base, they should've taken the risk to take the 3rd, but they just don't want to take a risk when they have a great upper hands, they should've known that their opponent OG has great comebacks, so you just have to risk it in the right time, or you'll gonna risk it again in late game. It's just the same, you'll have yo take the risk sooner or later. Hands down to the mogul kahn btw
In the semi finals against OG, LGD wanted to finish the game quick, but got greedy by pushing the T4 towers and ancient using buybacks just for attacking. They failed and it cost them the game. They learned the lesson, but playing safe didn't work either
No idea how Ceb didn't get MoM. He clearly did everything to keep their team from losing. Did so much that it allowed Ana to get farmed up and become unkillable.
Good play by OG, really good. But I think this just shows how broken that PL Talent is though, you can effectively dodge any spell + you're very difficult to single out.
dude the level of control and map awareness needed is pretty pro level ! you need extreme mechanics to do that believe me i played pl and its not that simple ! Ana is too good
1:16:40 brewmaster’s earth spirit was stuck by the ice wall. What if the earth spirit could throw a stun at ana and reduce the chance of him juking which might lead to an earlier kill
