I also agree with this! My mom stored a couple of toys from each one of us and now our kids play with them. As for the Legos!! Absolutely keep those. Those things get expensive! We kept a huge tote that my oldest had he's 22 now and his now 15 year brother used them to build stuff as he grew up and still sometimes uses them and now we have a toddler and I'm sure eventually he'll use them too.

You should get your mom closet organizers , clear containers , purse organizer so she can see what she has easier and then she can wear if more often ❤ 👍🏽 she did a great job
We are currently going through the same process with my grandma, her heath has deteriorated a lot the past year and now has trouble walking so my mom and her siblings have been trying to clean out her house. She’s an extreme hoarder and had a lot of things that needed to be thrown out(expired items and broken furniture). I will admit it was tough seeing the hurt in her eyes when they got rid of the mountains of clothes/books she kept because I know she hold on to sentimental things that bring back memories for her but unfortunately she has no space for any of that anymore in order for her to be able to get around her own house.
I still cant bear to give up some of my adult children things😭....stacey ur right they grow up so fast....my son made me cry soooo much behind closed doors....he said Amá i also saw you grow up so much 😮😢i was in shock n he mentioned different times literally that was true we grew up together ❤.....

Loved this! Def inspired me to give away more things I’m holding on to for what if’s. I know i have at least 5-10 items I can give away so someone else can benefit from them.
Believe it or not there's a stage that many kids go through where they a lot of them really love Legos... so that might be a great gift for her future grandkids 😊Aside from Legos already being super expensive there's some pieces that people will pay a fortune for that are vintage and hard to find. For all you know you might have one of those pieces in that bin!

The thing is that we can’t judge or make people declutter their items. Stuff is stuff and sometimes they are important to people so as long as it’s not affecting their everyday life, they should keep it as long as they want because it makes them happy.
You have to keep in mind that everyone has their own way of getting along. Ellas se tienen much confianza, and personally I dont feel like Stacey was rude at all.
