Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. I think you’re looking fine Arnica cream or ointment. We used it a lot when we had hock player billets living with us. It does help with swelling but it’s not a miracle fix - it’s just a natural ointment instead of a manufactured one.

The past few years all we (the public) have heard is HER side. HER voice. This is the actual first time in that court house that we have actually heard HIS voice tell HIS side of the story. “i just want johnny to leave me alone”?! Absolutely no one told her to publicize every single detail of her divorce and relationship with him. Literally having your team collaborate with TMZ to document the whole divorce and more. How is that wanting to be left alone? Amber, you were the one who didn’t leave johnny alone, not him.
Not to mention she actually tried to sue him for defamation first..but It was denied. So I find it funny she says she just wanted to be left alone and it to be all over with after the divorce.

I have not seen anyone mentioned this but I noticed she only “cries” when her lawyers are questioning her. She doesn’t cry when it’s other lawyers. That’s strange. When you’re a real victim and you’re really traumatized, it’ll come out no matter who the lawyer is.
Not to mention the times Johnny has been on the stand recounting the alleged traumatic events she endured, not a tear shed.
It was mentioned during the first round of testifying, six weeks ago.

And not just stop. If I'm talking about something very upsetting I'm still shook up for a while afterwards. I can't just kick back and be all calm IMMEDIATELY after I stop talking. He may be a mess of an addict with a real nasty way of describing things to his friends, via text, but that doesn't make him a wife beater.
It's not a "campaign" against you, dear. You risked this attack against Johnny in an attempt to get it all. It backfired. This is the consequence. We're all here because of what you put into motion. The most telling thing is how Ms. Heard remembers exact dates and times and obscure photographs only when *her* counsel questions her but can't recall the same information when Ms. Vasquez asks.
That’s usually either a stalling tactic by the witness or an issue of the defense properly prepping the witness while the plaintiff on cross is trying to catch the witness off-guard by bringing up different events.
It’s pretty typical. A lot of witnesses giving testimony also just naturally resist any question from opposing counsel, too.

I can't begin to convey my total admiration of this judge's ability and stamina to proceed with this trial. It's just amazing how she can do this for so many weeks! Her professionalism is beyond my imagination. She deserves a nice long enjoyable vacation!

When the judge discovered that AH team tampered the picture that was used to interrogate JD's second cross showing that he was carrying a child and the bruise was not present while JD team showed the picture that he had bruise, she did not allow the AH team to use it in closing argument. This judge rocks. Wow. Just wow.

Has anyone noticed the discrepancies between Amber’s and Whitney’s accounts of the “stairs” incident? Amber says that Whitney threw herself between Amber & Johnny. Whitney says that she was standing at the top of the stairs with her back to the stairs, then Johnny came flying up the stairs. And that’s not the only discrepancy between their accounts.
For someone that apparently breaks down rehearsing on set due to her PTSD, Heard has coped remarkably well in court in a highly stressful environment for almost six weeks.

Right!?!!? I have CPTSD and I can't even handle someone grilling me like Camille was, no matter what they are saying. It would cause me to start crying and zone out. The way this makes sense is if she has a fight response (as opposed to flight, freeze, fawn etc). But then I feel like it would be helpful to point that out, and it should have been something her psychologist pointed out. Like "you'll see if our client is distressed she'll be triggered and unfortunately her natural tendency is towards being argumentative and combative. This is her instinctive self defense mode". Fails all around

I know if I was on the jury, one lie about an abusive episode would make me think she was lying about all. Clearly she was lying about JD holding her down on the bar and repeatedly punching her in the face while wearing rings. Funny thing is, if she had stuck to saying he slapped her, which is still DV, she would've had a pretty believable case given how awful they were verbally to one another. But no, she had to over exaggerate all of the encounters which make her non credible.
I was telling my husband the same thing. If she hadn't given such clearly exaggerated testimony given the evidence, or rather lack thereof, she would have a much better case.
Yes! If she had just stuck with slaps, pushes, grabbing her arms, she wouldn't have had an issue. It was her huge, sordid tales that really did her in. None of her stories match up with her photo evidence.

This is the first time I've devoted my life in a celebrities' trial like this. I've been sitting in my bedroom for 7 hours every night watching every single trial and I haven't missed any. Now I'm sad that it's coming to an end, isn't that weird? Haha.

As a survivor of some very extreme DV, this trial was incredibly painful to watch. I feel like those of us who have been through it often have an acute ability to recognize if someone has experienced the trauma of domestic violence. It hurts to know that the lies Amber has told have potential to regress the progress DV survivors have made. I know there are thousands like me who have followed this trial, and know the feeling I’m talking about, and if any of you are reading this comment, You’re not alone with these complicated feelings. So many of us who have been through it have had to suffer with not being believed, which is traumatic in itself. I feel a sense of guilt for not believing Amber, but the truth is so clearly written in this case, that it’s impossible to believe otherwise. Take care of yourselves, do something that makes you happy, no matter how small. Amber Heard does not speak for us, she does not represent us, she is not the face or the voice of domestic violence survivors.

First off, kudos to you for putting these feelings into words. This is EXACTLY how I've been feeling this entire time. She disgusts me, lying about DV when millions of women suffer from DV and have NO support, while she claims DV and has TONS of support, meaning she could have left at any time and not subjected herself to further DV if it was actually happening (which i don't believe it was) it infuriates me. It also infuriates me because she's now put "believe women" down the crapper, *some* people will now use her as an excuse to not believe women, again. It makes us go backwards. Totally agree with you and sorry to hear about your DV experience. The problem is that it is very common that women LIE about domestic violence and accuse their BF/man/husband for DV, taking them to court and WIN most of the time. And that is ALSO what Amber was trying to do (when she wrote the op-ed and now in this court, even if JD took her to court). Sad but true =(

The campaign that has been launched against Amber is not about siding with Johnny. She made multiple false statements under oath and thus committed perjury. Her allegations were not backed by any strong evidence and even worse her psychologist tried to manipulate evidence. Simply, she was in a position to manipulate the jury with her falsehoods and her incessant attempts to give indirect answers during cross examination.
I am well aware that some will argue that public’s hostility towards Amber, is damaging for victims of domestic violence generally but here the view can be taken that she is not a representative of true cases of domestic violence. Her lies including the ones related to donations, her attempt to always doubt the credibility of witnesses who do not side with her and her behaviour in court and smirking while Johnny was on the stand as a witness, are very revealing. Hopefully the jury will be able to return a verdict that is based on evidence only not on feelings of empathy towards women who are typical victims of domestic violence because men too can be victims.

yeah me too. My heart just goes out to both parties trying to understand both individuals. There’s so much we cannot possibly know that could contribute to this. But all I can say is that Integrity will go farther than anything in life. the more you can own up and take responsibility for yourself and your actions the more you will be able to live in a way that can help you be free but not be trapped in the constant lies which only binds you up even more. Somehow those lies entangles themselves into your mind in ways that it’s hard to see the light of the truth.

1st-The TMZ reporter said not only that they knew which side of her face to photograph, but "that Amber would pause briefly and turn so the right side of her face could be photographed". This clearly indicates she knew paparazzi would be there and even orchestrated a photo opportunity with them.
2nd-When she was getting defensive about people coming to Johnny's defense, she said that's exactly why she wrote the Op Ed about him, when up until that point her claim was that the Op Ed wasn't about him, hence she couldn't be defaming him.
Of course Johnny won, but those were two smoking guns that I was shocked were missed.

The forensic psychologist was being very unprofessional, she was answering the defense as if the question was a personal attack on her rather than a justified clarification of the facts. She talks about everyone else lying and protecting Johnny, but who’s to say she isn’t lying either? Why is it everyone is paid to lie for Jonny but no one is lying to protect her? Why is she taking photos of a broken wine but not a photo of her bruised face? Why is she claiming makeup covered up her bruises when there’s photos of her wearing makeup and bare face, and the photos she claims are bare face are exactly the same as the ones where she says she’s wearing makeup? Why has no one came out to testify that she was bruised on many occasions where they saw her? Why is there no photo of her in public where she looks bruised or battered when there is a photo of Johnny in a group photo where he has a purple eye? Why did she take a photo of her ‘broken’ bed but not the condition of her bruised face when the camera was in her hand? Why can she provide a photo and provide an essay as context but no witnesses which were present can corroborate that story or support that story? Amber really went home and googled PTSD after seeing her psychiatric forensic expert get schooled and said “a’ight bet” then came back and threw every major PTSD issue at the wall hoping one would stick. I didn’t care who succeeded in this trial. I came in to just watch the case proceedings and learn some things. I actually suffer from PTSD from major medical trauma. I can barely talk about it to my spouse and therapist. I’ve also watched the online responses with a critical eye. She is responding verbatim to issues the “team Johnny” side has pointed out, as well as those we, in the mentally Ill community called out because of her ableist portrayal of an actual life altering diagnosis. I’m usually not one to take sides in a public celebrity issue because I don’t know these people. She’s killed her case from the get go by her own hand with these various testimonies.

It's really very strange that she appears incredibly upset while giving testimony, but the second the questions stop, so do her apparent emotions. That's just not how emotions work.
What I notice is the stuff she can rehearse, like questions from her lawyers while she is on the stand is when we get this obvious act - then when things take a more unpredictable turn like a question is objected to, or she is being questioned by Depp's lawyers the act drops, because she can't have rehearsed for it. Guessing she's not great at improv.

This is why I think mental health needs to be taken much more seriously than it actually does.
@@BambiOnIce19 yes, there is defenetly something very off with her, which she hopefully comes to understand after all this and finds the chance to do something about it (IF she realizes it). Certainly a lot of work and effort is needed from her side...but it is possible. I don't like to stigmatize people saying that u can't get better...so i wish her the best.
Man, see this is the thing. I was telling someone the amber in the recordings is different from what she claims to experience. They dismissed it as “you never know how a victim will respond.” Yes, that’s true, but what I’m saying is the description she gets of being super fearful, afraid to be touch, etc. Does not line up with her chasing HIM around the house and hitting him and calling him names. That does not line up at all.
Omg, I have a headache watching it now, even though I know it has ended well for Johnny... Can't imagine what people, who watched it live without knowing the results, felt. I would have been so stressed out, if I watched this back then. Heard is unbearable. I wouldn't be able to sympathize with her even if I really tried. Before the trial I was just annoyed by the fact of her existence, but didn't rush to call her a liar and an abuser (not until some videos and audios were leaked, at least). But this trial, especially her own testimonies and general behavior in the courtroom, made me absolutely hate her. She totally is the only one to blame for her misery. Abusive, vile, absolutely unlikable.
The most hilarious part of this is when AH is trying to execute her script and role and Camille keeps killing her buzz by objecting 😂😂 I love it.

It's unbelievable that someone who is "crying" about how this trial is the most traumatic, horrible thing she's ever gone through can become stone faced and argumentative when being called a liar. Is this not what she just claimed was traumatizing her? Being called a liar? Ugh.
Tough lesson to learn! She had EVERYTHING; she had Johnny, whom deeply loved her, she had an upcoming wonderful acting career, a lifestyle people can only imagine, but she blew it all…no Johnny, no acting career, probably no money….now she’s the most hated woman in the world….but she deserves it because she viciously orchestrated all of this to destroy Johnny, thinking Johnny would not fight back.
