Zergling into Baneling is more like bees when they sting... their sacrifice doesn't guarantee the survival of the individual, but the survival of the colony.
@@alexanderdittrich9743 That's another matter of its own tbh. Imagine a baneling wandering into a Terran colony after it's hive was destroyed. It's not looking for revenge, there are no overlords to guide it's actions, it's just reacting on instinct, when it blows up spraying a bunch of colonists. Did it protect the Zerg race? No, of course not, but that's what it does, it just exist to blow up, no pride, no glory, no sorrow, nothing, just splat! Or whatever sound they make.

Zergling: Good boy, plays with things, chews everything, runs arround all the time. Baneling: slugish, feels like the best way to get places is in a big, comfy, ugly Overlord. Yeah, you gotta check out that new TierZoo vid on bees and ants. Basically, the Zerglings share more genes with each other than they would with their own offspring. It's actually an evolutionarily sound strategy to die for the hive.
@hamit He means belly of the beast the Mission before the Last Mission of WOL. Its a hero Mission to destroy all nydus worms for the Last Mission on char vs kerrigan.
So the most important polish double vowels, singular vowels, false friends and how to pronounce them: -sz - pronounced like sh in english for example in word: shot -cz - pronounced like ch in some of the english words for example: charity -dż - pronounced like j in jeans -rz - pronounced like s in word measure, its much harder in pronounciation though -ż - pronounced exactly like "rz" -ć - tbh its hard to give a proper example in english. its very soft vowel. Its way softer ż in fact. if z is followed by i, its pronounced the same way -ś - the same as with ć. Pronounced like sh but way softer. When s its followed by i thats the same case -u - another dear false friend, pronounce it like english double o "oo" -ó - its literally the same thing as u, only grammatical difference -ch - pronounced just like typical hard h -dz - only equivalent word i found is podzol -dż - pronounced like g in gel. its in fact merge of d and ż after it -dź - pronounced as d with ź after it. May be a bit tricky to pronounce well -dzi - the same as dź -r - its worth noting that we use very hard pronounced r, like for example in spanish word perro
So, about the size of a Terran Marine, keep in mind that Terrans I believe are slightly larger than the average human, I think the average being around 2 meters tall (I believe the conversion being 6.2 ft?). Also keep in mind that in certain Cutscenes we see Terrans walking next to Marines (my mind goes to the LotV cinematic where Raynors Engineers assist a Dominion Marine) and they're a good couple feet above them (in the cinematic the Marine is kneeling down and they barely reach his head). So probably 9 feet tall or closing on 3 meters. So not only are Marines terrifyingly large, but Queens are larger than them by probably 3 times (the wiki does however claim they are 1.5 times the size of a Terran Marine). Edit: Also according to the wiki, the average Terran is 1.8 meters. Still above average to us humans here on Earth, but only by a very slight margin.
It's kind of hard to help with Polish pronunciation without specific examples, but there were probably a lot of digraphs (and sometimes even trigraphs) on those geoguessers, so a clump of what seem to be consonants become just one or two sounds.
To be morphed into a Baneling must be a promotion: They are round, full with godly green gooze and always have some friends with them, to whatever end, trancending themselves in one Big Bang….Sounds kinda nice ^^
Marines in armor are not just 1,80 my guy. The internet says the armor itself is 2,13. Which honestly, considering they're basically 40k Space Marines, is kinda small.
Just a tiny knit pick Lowko, in a series a match is the sum of all the individual games, so the momentum you were talking about is within the match not game.
I don’t play Starcraft, just watch it. Do you know why Terrans just seem to absolutely refuse to build a single raven? It seems like the 100/200 for 1 raven to make your main army never get hit by burrowed banelings again would be completely worth it
@@quatzecoatlname6296 it’s definitely worth 200/100 but according to Terrans they’re too fragile and need constant babysitting otherwise they just die. I still disagree because you can just set the raven to follow your army but that’s what they say. Pretty sure they’re just allergic to ravens
Promotion if it blow up on creep, you remain is absorbed trough the creep. Punishment if you're sacrifice, but you can become a Hero. Double edge sword.

I don't know if zerglings are promoted when turned into banelings, but zerg queen slowly disintegrating to the sound of lowko hollering in the background is definitely a punishment.
Its 100% a promotion. From a primal zerg prospective it would be an honor to take essence even if it costs your life. Plus its an investment they would not cost more if it was not a promotion.
Lowko talking about the size of the Queen gave me some thoughts. A mod with everything being lore correct size would be really fun to see/play. It would be almost unplayable but it would be so immpressive looking. It would need MUCH bigger maps for sure. And i suggest as the units get bigger in size, their damage and cost get bigger too. For example if an Ultralisk was 10x in size to be lore correct, it should cost 10x more and also do 10x more damage!
I recommend giant crant games/ giant crant games archive (for uncut stream Voss) he made a video with that exact thing. It is pretty funny and actually very interesting to see the new strats.
Turning into a baneling is neither a promotion nor a punishment as either of these things would require zerglings to have an ego. Morphing into a baneling is just one way they have to fulfill their function. Whatever their Broodmother says to do, they will.
