I see you're using the floating fishing net, but it looks like you've replaced the net part with a "Measure Net". Is that true?
Yup, I'm using a really cheap hoop because it's light and floats and I got the bag from measure net. Don't like getting accused of exaggerating lengths lol

I’ve been experimenting more with just a single fly during the cooler season and it seems to be working.
Every fish was on the point fly because they won't move as far to eat. Makes sense to run just one fly.
What color nymphs are working on the upper sac rn? And I don’t have to go as far as Dunsmuir to find the trout rn do I? I was thinking about trying the pollard flat exit, what you think?
Nope, when the flows are stable, the whole river fishes well. Today, both dark and light nymphs worked. Orange is usually an effective color for me as well.

@@driftstone on average are there bigger trout in the river right now because they’ve traveled up from the lake to spawn or are there always big trout in the upper sac no matter the time of year?
@@charliecurtis8852 I've heard that about lake runners but I've never experienced it. There are definitely big residents.
