💗💗💗 Thank you for your sensitive and honest discussion of performing witchcraft when someone has OCD 2:19:16 . Many people wouldn’t be brave enough to share their experiences and thus help others.
2:25:00 I have so much respect for Hearth in this moment for being so candid and kind and thoughtful about this discussion. Thank you sincerely for sharing this-this is something I think about quite a bit and I’m glad we can talk about this in this community.
Thank you for sharing about your OCD. I think that thinking about ways to modify practices for people with various disabilities or mental illnesses would be great. I have epilepsy, so I think that would be super helpful.
The house I grew up in had a ton of activity - but we had all sorts of types. It felt like a hub or passage station. Brownies, Poltergeist, Light Beings, Angels, Shadow people, etc… I wish I knew why!!!
Have you tried researching the history of the house, former owners, and the land it was built on? Is it near any spiritual or historic sites? That may give you some clues. 😀
There is a really good book out called The Blackbird Oracle by Deborah Harkness. It is by the writer of The Discovery of Witches, and it is a follow on from that story.
I’ve listened to it at least ten times and there’s were some interesting revelations weren’t there. Now I have to take another trip to Salem. And Ipswich will host the Reenactment of the 250th anniversary of the battle of Bunker Hill in July. ( the real site is in Residential Charlestown. There’s not enough room.)
You wonder why we’d like to be able to consult with you? Because what you share with us resonates with deeply with some of us like me. You are straight forward, explain things so well. And for me, there’s two added bonuses. I Discovered my witch years ago when I moved from NYC to Highbury. (And there was so little available then) I’ve always been charmed by a northern accent. And I’m a deeply devoted fan of the de Clairmont clan. If you haven’t read Blackbird Oracle just wait. There are some revelations that will shock your socks off. Wasn’t Sheila Hancock terrific? Didn’t picture her like I knew from turning page one that Hagrid was Robbie Coltrane. But when I saw her I said yes. And Sarah had to be Alex Kingston. Now I live in Connecticut again. But you make me feel at home.
There are a couple great books about the decans regarding minor cards, like 36 secrets. It goes through the decan wheel and how each card aligns with astrological signs.
Hi Hearth, the same thing happens to me, I love everything about Ghosts, but I talk about it to my friends and they say they don't believe it and that ghosts don't exist and I feel sad because I can't talk to anyone about it.
I met the Warrens in 1977 in high school. It was right around the time of the Amityville. My best friend and I spent a good deal of time talking to them. We were 16. The age thing kind of freaks me out now.😳
I thought of my dog Handsome, whom we had to put down last year, a few days ago. I have his ashes on a shelf, and his ceramic paw print fell off the box his ashes are in.
Hi Hearth, knowing your love for folktales with Imbolc coming up soon and her being your patron goddess, I thought you might find this interesting. There is a RUclips channel called Story Crow, and he just posted a video titled" Brigid : From Pagan Goddess to Christian Saint." It is pretty interesting; she is my first Goddess for many years so of course it caught my attention. Plus, the guy is an amazing storyteller. Take Care🔥
Have you read any of the 3 Practical Magic books that Alice Hoffman has written since the first book? I have to say, as a huge Alice Hoffman fan, that I loved the movie more than the first book. Since then Alice Hoffman has written 3 more books, 2 prequels and 1sequel, which the new movie will be taken from. Part set in Essex, England. I really looking forward to see where they go with the movie and pray that they won't screw it up.
Alas, no new art or big changes, the only new different are the mushrooms by the lamp, the back of the chair is covering the planchette, I couldn't ever take that down I love it far too much
Most of the North American continent is a Native American burial ground honestly.. I'm Indigenous and I know a little bit about my ancestral spiritual heritage and very little on a few other tribes within the US. That said, I don't believe most of the Native Americans would have become Earthbound, even in war, illness or any other trauma. I doubt there is any way to generalize reasons for people who do become trapped here. I certainly wouldn't listen to a television Reality Ghost Hunter's theories on that. Don't they all think they're demons anyway?
not me re-watching the whole live after having been watching during the live just cause I KNOW there's more I can learn every time you speak

Hi Hearth, I always enjoy these videos, especially the tangents and the rants. One day maybe I'll catch it live someday.
Love your rants, girl.
I just found you! It’s about time!!
Thanks Hearth ❤ you’re awesome
As someone noted, additional information on determining your Major and Minor tarot cards can be found in the book Tarot for Yourself by Mary K. Greer.
Great stream as always, Hearth! Take care of that cold 🫖 ☕️ 🍯
5.5 hours. That's amazing

Hi Hearth. Have you read The Age of Arthur by John Morris? It's not about witchcraft per se but is very interesting re the Dark Ages.
