As someone that was working on the ride when this was filmed, I assure you that you were safe. The reason why the seats slipped was because of the weight distribution on that car. Combined with G-Force as you went over, the brake did indeed slip, however, it did catch the car from spinning too fast. If it failed to catch the car/the brake failed, the computer will flag an error and the ride will trip and will come to a safe stop until it has been reset. I apologise on behalf of the Sedgwick Family that you found this scary but rest assured, your safety was not compromised. As you may know Rock Rage is now under new ownership and please don’t let this experience get in the way of you going on the ride again. Rides safety systems are very intelligent and sensitive, if 1 sensor is picking up something wrong, even if it is just because a bit of dirt in the sensor, the ride will trip and come to a stop. Hope this helps explain everything.

I call tell you thank this guy is not the average ride jock. He just demonstrated that he has a thorough working knowledge of this device and is 100% correct.
It doesn’t look like anything went wrong. It’s happened to me before but I enjoy the G Force. The ride itself is very study and feels like a ride that would be at six flags. It’s all about the speed, timing, location, and obviously weight distribution. A ride like this is never the same every single time.

This shit happened to me and my friend twice (Avenger - Holzem and then on Flash - Kipp) and I LOVED IT! It’s intense for sure but what an adrenaline rush! I crave for this happening again 🤣
