Even though he's very likable, as a depressed person I could definitely see some depression type things in him. So I'm happy to hear it's turning around. :)
The "racial Disney" story about the laugh floor reminded me of something similar I HAVE to share. I'm an Orlando local, used to go to Disney all the time. One time I went to the monsters inc laugh floor and Marty wazowski (Mike's kid nephew) called on a kid in the audience who was Asian, he asked the kid what he wanted to be when he grew up. The kid said "a doctor" and Marty said "well that figures." quickly before moving on. Like it wasn't supposed to be focused on but he still SAID IT. My friends and I were AGHAST. I still think about it every time I go to/pass by the laugh floor.
Whoa, Adum had a ride break at Universal? I went with my family in like 2011 and we got stuck on the Men in Black ride and had to watch the five-second clip of Will Smith "erasing our memory", complete with a blinding flash that filled the whole room. We were stuck there while that played on repeat for twenty minutes before any employees finally came and let us out.
I love how scoot just keeps making these silly suggestions to fill out Adam’s sentences and Adam just not giving a fuck and going on with his story in all seriousness it reminds me so much of my dynamic with this one friend of mine (me being scoot and my friend being Adam)

Its very funny to me that Adam dunked on universal so hard and had a shitty experience as someone thats into theme parks, because the consensus in the online theme park community seems to be that disney's dropping the ball and on the decline and universal is steadily becoming the more worthwhile park to go to, and i think universal might be poised to overtake disney as the theme park market leader kind of soon? Which no ones done before, Ive personally had a better experience at disney than universal, but its interesting that the perspective of a tourist from Canada that knows nothing about the online theme park community is completely different from the theme park community's consensus
I'm gonna be honest, when you're a regular theme park goer like most people in the online theme park community, the luster of solid and long lasting experiences falter. It's why they throw on seasonal overlays, for example. I think there's some cool stuff happening at Universal, but most people who go to theme parks are tourists or people who hit it up infrequently. Disney parks are still rock solid, while Universal can be a bit of a gamble, especially if you're not into the marquis IPs they're highlighting (Illumination stuff, Mario, Harry Potter )
i'm so happy that adum enjoyed the two rides i remembered when he was in florida, the yeti expedition coaster and turtle talk with crush. turtle talk with crush made me feel so special as a kid and i bet other kids felt the same. that yeti ride was wild.
I remember in high school we took our spring break trip to Disneyworld and Universal Studios, and I remember the exact same disconnect between the Disney parks and the Universal Parks
2:33:42 Adum, Adum, Adum. If you ever read this... I've got good news, and bad news. Good news: Warner DOES have a theme park. It's located in Madrid and has rides based on DC, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo, and a couple of other properties. During Halloween, they have haunted houses based on The Conjuring, and IT. 2:36:37 Bad news: There's no Matrix. The park mostly focuses on the DC properties, and other family-friendly stuff, although, they're pretty fun too. Warning: If you ever do go there, don't get on the Old Western Territory. I personally didn't ride it, but many people have suffered from, let's say, castrations. If you look it up, the rollercoaster is made out of WOOD, and it's really bumpy and painful for obvious reasons. ⚰ That's all. Peace.
The ship that is boarded on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance doesn't go anywhere, it just moves up and down to simulate movement, the doors open on the opposite side from which you get on when you get off is all...essentially it is just a doorway to the main ride
The clip of Adam at the Magic Kingdom eating a lobster roll has 90's dad energy. Also, is his boyfriend edited to be Bagheera from the live action Jungle Book? Because that's amazing.
This was a good listen. I just jotted down some theme park crap that I related to as the video went on, so sorry to stampede into the comments with a wall of text. I've been on Smuggler's Run a few times and never had it buffer, though I did see one video online where someone glitched out into the skybox of the game which was pretty hilarious, I feel bad that Adum's was a little laggy. One time at the Laugh Floor, I saw the same "will buy everyone churros" prompt under just some guy, he wasn't Hispanic I don't think so idk if that was accidental spice for Adum's visit, but it got such a big laugh from the crowd that he was swarmed by random people chanting "Churros! Churros!" after the show was over, it was one of the best things I ever saw in that park. Also to answer Adum's question about Pirates, someone probably told him on stream or later or whatever, but they added those Jack Sparrows peppered throughout the ride around the time of the 2nd movie. They even updated the ride a bit with each movie adding projections of Davy Jones, Black Beard, mermaids in the water, etc., but the ride has kinda gradually reverted back to its vanilla form albeit with the Jack Sparrow parts still hanging around. I agree that leaving Magic Kingdom is the worst goddamn nightmare ever. Cramming onto the ferry or the monorail takes so long when I would rather just sprint to my car. I feel it that Universal feels a bit dated in comparison, but I love the time capsule of the 90's that some of that park is, it's got a unique charm in my opinion. I'm a whore for the Spider-Man and Men in Black rides, those are so nostalgic and perfect for me, haha. Fast and Furious: Supercharged is the worst ride ever. It replaced both Earthquake (AKA Disaster) and Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue, 2 much better experiences. Twister got turned into Jimmy Fallon's Race Through New York, though strangely the warehouse doors on the back of the building still say "Twister: Ride it Out" if you ever are on the backlot. I guess they didn't want to paint a new logo. I bet the Mummy ride was still under refurbishment when Adum went, that ride still rocks in my opinion. Funnily enough, the Bug's Life show predates the movie by almost 7 months. Odd promotion in my opinion. Dinosaur was also made quite a bit before the movie, so much so that they renamed the ride when the movie was coming out.
When my mom went to Disney world in the 80s, she was on space mountain and they stopped the ride and turned on the lights because someone lost their hat, she noticed how close the carts were to the structure

I actually went to Universal just a year or two ago and I loved it. I've honestly forgotten most things about the trip, but I remember waiting in line for the Hulk ride Adum mentioned. Me and my dad were there for what felt like an hour, maybe two. And then the ride ended up being like two seconds long lol. Also we went to one of the HP restaurants, idk which one, but I got a half rotisserie chicken, potatoes, and corn on the cob that I remember being phenomenal. Also we rode the Gringott's ride maybe 3 times that day because it was so fun, and the line was like nonexistent for the rest of the day. Overall it was a trip I really enjoyed, but to be fair, we were mostly there for the HP stuff.

When i went on Smugglers Run the pilots just so happened to be a dad and his 5 year old child, which i think is the only correct way to experience the ride (aka hitting every possible obstacle and being shaken as much as the big metal box will allow)

If you never tried poutine with sunny-side egg on top, you should give it a go. Also in terms of industrial factories, we had conveyor belts all over the factory that I used to work at within easy arm reach that would tear your arm off before anyone else would even notice it starting to happen.

Someone tell Adum there _are_ Warner Bros. Parks in the world, in Madrid and Brisbane, but they're sold-off international Six Flags parks. So I hope he's excited for DC Superheroes, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, the live-action Scooby-Doo films and 1999's Wild Wild West- because they're the only licenses they have.
I was thinking this the whole time; Efteling is de beste theme park I've ever been to. I used to live near it when I was a kid so I went there loads of times, and I recently went back and it was great to see it's still just as great as it was then.
@@Dutchiepie2284 yeah it's amazing, my partner lives in the Netherlands and we've been a couple of times when I was visiting, I was wondering how much of her love for the park was based in nostalgia, but even as someone from the UK who hadn't been to it until a few years ago, it's a really special place
I guess he just didn’t realize it, but. Yes “Marvel Superhero Island” is supposed to be a retro area because it based off of the old animated marvel characters like the X-men and Spider-Man animated shows from the 90s. They can’t update it cause they obviously don’t have the movie rights.
43:00 Disney's contract with Columbia / Aerosmith is up and it's going into refurbishment in a few months so the rumor is that they might be changing the coaster to a different theme1.

@@hangoutwithme346 They don't do it that way since often you'll get like 8-10 individual small dishes. It would be pretty bad if you got full halfway through. If you never tried poutine with sunny-side egg on top, you should give it a go. Also in terms of industrial factories, we had conveyor belts all over the factory that I used to work at within easy arm reach that would tear your arm off before anyone else would even notice it starting to happen.
Oh wow this is one of the longest highlights we've gotten, kudos and good work man.
Salamancer’s pronouns are she/her, just a head’s up!
@@Varooooooom okay? I wasn't insulting all I was doing was praising the vid, that's a dumb thing to get held up on
@@xSOCxGenesis Holy shit, relax. I was just providing a kind & simple reminder, no need to get so defensive. It’s not a dumb thing to get held up on, because it matters to her.
@@Varooooooom wow the only one sounding aggressive now is you, I've used no curses or Insults can you relax?
@@xSOCxGenesis Yeah, you just implied I was dumb for gently bringing it up, which is totally not insulting. And all I said was “holy shit”, it’s not like I called you a fuckface or something. So yeah, you do need to relax, because now you’re exaggerating the intentions of my response to you. Getting so defensive over a very simple correction.
i never comment on youtube videos but i just wanted to say its so nice to hear adam is happy
Would like to know more of Adam’s restaurant picks! It’s been nice learning about some new places.
Thick Lobster Load from Sebastian sounds wonderful!
That is just bizarre! Lmao
Interesting to hear Adum's thoughts on the parks, going to Florida (From Scotland) in January just for Universal.
this is a scathing review Giga-scathing even
I would love for adum to visit the Netherlands and go to the Efteling Park
30:50 Horsie boy throwing hatchets, uwu...
I Am Here… Now (the ride)
Adums basically Anton Ego at this point
I used to work at U. Absolutely accurate.
Great video, Salamancer!!
43:00 Disney's contract with Columbia / Aerosmith is up and it's going into refurbishment in a few months so the rumor is that they might be changing the coaster to a different theme1.
How dare you remind me of that accursed Wikihow article art.
Fancy restaurants aren’t where you go to chow down, it’s to experience something different with food, and there’s definitely no guarantee that you’ll like everything.
For $300 I want it all. A full belly, taste and experience 🤷🏻♀️
@@hangoutwithme346 They don't do it that way since often you'll get like 8-10 individual small dishes. It would be pretty bad if you got full halfway through.
I see it as a positive, as it means that I don't have to spend nearly as much if I'm just looking to get a full belly of good food at other kinds of restaurants. They are simply two different categories in my mind, with entirely different goals.
that's quite a lengthy highlight but it sure was fun to watch.

Disney world has two rainforest cafes
I live in Victoria bc I am totally gonna check Hanks out
The fact that you had to clarify that he was playing Far Cry 3 just in case people didn’t know, was the first time I’ve ever felt old
It's to keep people from asking what game it is. Mind you, I've done this before and STILL have gotten that comment.
3:09:50 okay but what the fuck Was happening in chat there lol
OwO
The imminent shock I felt when I clicked on a video with a weird thumbnail and a title that didnt say much just to see that it's 3 hours long and also contains spoilers for far cry 3 of all things..
The burger in paradise being the worst he ever had. Crazy. How could they mess that up
"Have I done a guest spot on Just2Good's Lego channel?"
Scoot would definitely be an _interesting_ guest on Just2Good's channel, haha. I'm sure they'd find _something_ in common to chat about though
(...I say, winking at the single-digit number of people who share, like, 4 extremely specific niches with me, haha.)
Megaplex is a movie theater chain in Utah, the only theaters in Utah that have imax screens.
Ah yes all hail Larry H. Miller, Utah god of imax
Who gets upset at a wax stamp?

That sudden NO at 3:10:44. Are you in danger?
