Been to Taiwan only once so far. I had a day there waiting for a connecting flight. Interesting place. Planning to go back next year for a couple of weeks so I can have a better look around and experience the culture and more of the food.

Would of loved to have shown you some hiking gems in the mountains immediately surrounding Xiangshan. Xiangshan is cool for the views of 101 but there are just so many curiosities, temples, stone carvings, etc... in the adjacent Four Beasts Mountains that'd make for awesome video content. That said, so happy to share this video to friends and family. Taiwan is a special place.
those are some very magical sceneries. very different from what I have seen in the West obviously but also a bit different from the likes of Japan or Korea. The whole atmosphere looks very chill and relaxed. very nice..

I think I have come to realize why I enjoy these travel vlogs so much, they are very calming and soothing and illustrate how subtly beautiful and rich life can be if you just explore and take it all in, in the moment. It's influenced me to want to do this more with travelling or just day to day life in Colorado!

@Charlie Yang so technically he isn't wrong though. It was part of China but during the communism takeover. The free republic of china lost and went to the island. I don't think they ever went through the process of fully succeeding from China. It's a weird situation.
The quality of the video image is pretty good with the Apple 14 Pro, with 48 mp I believe, particularly for a static tripod (or something rigid) type of shot. But I'm not so keen on the repeated views of 'outstretched forearm'. Looking forward to the next episode.
I often realized that im into these loops where i enjoyed youtubers but after a couple months or a year, i get bored or loose interest with them. And then it hit me when i checked it's been 3 years+ since i watched your videos and i knew what makes me consistently love it: i love your vibe. Not your contents. So even though you already make some changes along the way i always love it cause you always bring the best vibes to it that i enjoyed pretty muchh. Thank you kraig adams!
oh, just realised this was last Oct trip. I was shocked quarantine measure still in place seeing first 3 mins of your video. It was a scared as we are flying to Taiwan soon.

Taiwan is a beautiful country with many challenging but gorgeous mountains, especially the Baiyue (a list of one hundred mountain peaks that are over 3,000m in Taiwan). Looking forward to your next video!!!
Nice video ! If your looking for some truely incredible hiking with amazing scenery I have suggestions, 1-The trek to the K2 base camp in Pakistan with a return over the Gondogoro Pass. 2- The volcanos and gysers treks in Kamchatka, Russia are simply amazing, many routes are possible. You can find RUclips videos about both of these regions for their amazing once in lifetime trekking.
Surprisingly that iphone 14 does a better job at night than it does inside buildings it seems. Pretty crisp and sharp with those night shots but indoors it seems to struggle being tac sharp when there isn't a ton of light.
