I personally think it sounds good. There's 2 E92 M3s near me that I can always hear with that same exhaust. It sounds awesome! That V8 roar gotta love that!!!

My 4.2 S4 is only running off of 2 O2 sensors. One of my favorite things with my tune. Cause my rear O2's were going anyways. I'd do it, car still runs perfect.

The akra x pipes sound so good because they have the x pipe AND and H pipe in front i think. Sounds really different and the nice kind of 'rasp' not the jarring type. But the aggressive one
Great video...I am currently sorting out my own exhaust system on my E90 M3. I have a Tubi Design rear section hooked up to a high flow cat front section...problem is the droning under load at low revs, makes your head want to explode...awesome low V8 sound with traditional M3 high end 8000rpm scream....sooo close but will need to add resonators to the front section to eliminate the drone.
So I’ve had my e92M3 for about 2 years and finally wanna get an exhaust. Not sure what’s the best starter exhaust? With valves cause California? And not to pricey? I was thinking valvetronic. But not 100%
Depends on how much volume you want to add. The M Performance muffler is actually really great on our cars and you aren't touching the cats for those Cali emissions.
Not really "back pressure" as it is "scavenging". Logic would say, putting on a 2in exhaust system would create more backpressure than a 3in system thus more hp for n/a. Where in actuality to see gains from a n/a exhaust system, you are pairing the width to air flow expelled from the engine displacement. Also why choosing either a "H" or "X" pipe is important. Either or paired with the wrong displacement will return negative results. Same with where the H or X is placed within the system. If it's too close or far from the cats, the system won't scavenge correctly and changing the sound. Most use the term "back pressure" to roughly sum it up.

What air filter do you have on M3 Spencer? If you want to get more induction noise I highly recommend BMC air filter! It makes great job!
