Nokie uses really light strings plus he has an extremely light touch.. I, on the other hand, have a rather heavy touch and since I am the "rhythm section" I only lighten up so much. In this kind of situation that little Taylor can't compete with that Stonebridge with medium strings that I was playing.. I should have also given Nokie a track for his pickup. But this wasn't a session. Just some guys pickin and seeing what the room sounded like...
BreshDigitalTV knew Nokie every minute of my life, he, my mom and her brother all friends since they were 14-15. He was a prince of a man, an elevated soul, a kind heart, humble and mad mad talented. ❤️

Great video. I watched another vid of you guys a while back with the same song but Nokie was playing a Telecaster If I remember. This was great because it was all acoustic.

given the opportunity it sounds like that greenfield would walk all over the taylor. at some points i could hardly hear it and you could tell he was laying into the cali-made over priced box great vid tho working on picking like that myself (never happen) wish Merle Travis was-a my daddy too LOL great job gents.
