A CRX is perfectly operational without an alternator. I've run the original duff without one. (bad bearing) You just have to stop every 25min to recharge the battery. :-) I would give Noah (TC) points for not crossing the blend line! I'd blame Craig for the spin... he does make his cars a little twitchy. (and I have driven the Del Slow.)
I would like to believe that Blue Steel, our Zoolander Mustang team, might hold the new record for black flag speed run. Got a black flag coming onto track in the blend line, and another between there and the penalty box. It was quite the race 😂
Optimus driver Matt can apparently only see stock brake lights. That ended exactly as one would think. I still have the headlight that goes there; the cover is destroyed, but the rest of it is fine. (it's a HID from a night race a few years ago.) The oil cooler was no longer ziptied to the radiator... it was dragging on the ground. Good thing he stopped driving immediately. Didn't go see the judges, 'tho. The radiator wasn't damaged by that love tap. The crimped on plastic cap on the passenger side ceased to be crimped. The temp light is one of the few things in the cluster that still works. I got it back undamaged. Only to put the wrong radiator in it. (it physically fits, one out of four bolts line up... that's Lemons.)
If you want a 35gal fuel cell (and you aren't a diesel), you should be given only ONE _stock_ 5gal fuel jug. And you must come to penalty to get it every time.
A few months ago, Calvin Nelson ( NIVLAC57 ) had his Ford TK and trailer stolen from a hotel parking lot in Florrence SC while returning from a southern race.
@@jfbeam The two locations are only 65 miles apart so I'd say it might be. Stealing vehicles from a motel parking lot is much lower risk than from in front of someones house. Plus, truck / trailer combos are more common in a motel lot. And, if too many vehicles are stolen from one area, this narrows the search area.
Duff had ONE of our drivers' (Ryan) truck stolen... with all of his gear in it, and spec miata bits in the back. Camden PD didn't even bother to show up. The hotel security cameras show someone walking over from the Waffle House and drive it away.

So what I’m hearing is you need thicker fuel lines, and several feeet of fuel line wound up in the rear quarter panel
