I normally export a UEL file and take it with me. I really need to get on top of making a template or templates... I have many different clients and my organizational skills with Tekla are zero

Thanks, it is Great. Is there any way to have access to the profile of another environment That I haven't started with. For example, I launched Tekla with the US environment and I need to have access to a couple of profiles from the German environment?

You would need to either download that shape group from the Tekla warehouse (search for "profile") or you can install the environment that has the shapes you need and export the desired profiles from a new, blank model. You can then import those profiles to the 'working' environment.
