He's very funny. I'll see if I can catch him after he wakes up, he's a complete baby (clinging to his mom etc) for the first half hour.

I think I would make a turn around by the house so you can drive up and down. Looking awesome! Thanks for sharing!

I'm thinking a turning/parking area where the concrete road ends. We'll build a temporary outdoor kitchen right by the house, might not have room to park there (maybe after we build a proper kitchen).
      Thank you for watching/commenting!

If power outages are common or a concern, you might phase in solar by getting batteries and inverter first and adding panels later. I plan to do this on my next build which will be early next year. The grid can charge the batteries so work isn't impacted by outages. Admittedly this is the most expensive part of solar but get the full size inverter and just a few batteries to start.

Yeah, my plan is definitely to phase in solar. I just wanted grid access first so we can weld etc. Power outages are always a concern here, so I hope we can have a small solar backup system up next year.

Well, I hope you have all necessary papers though. Could become problematic otherwise. But yeah, red tape sucks!

Yes don’t depend on local power plant, take charge and get solar power. Yourself.

We're planning on getting a dog, to force us to exercise. Our cardio is pretty bad right now, I am still getting over a cold as well. But yes, getting in shape is great and we both definitely need to get on that as soon as we can move in.
