Wow- this sounds incredible! I love the listener centric idea for fiction- it means whenever I return to the pages I am going to possibly walk away with a different understanding. Aware.

Oh HELL yes. I reread it in december to keep up with your plan for a video about this in january and the book got even better. Beauty and sadness, thousand cranes, the sound of the mountain, his palm of the hand stories - all amazing works.
Kawabata is a favourite of mine. Who else can make the sound of a kettle, teacup destruction and the slow rotation of an office chair on an empty train so emotive?
Thanks for all the great videos.

Really like what you did with this! The whole focus on change made me rethink some things about the novel...it changed my views, you may say haha.

I had to get an extra blanket after looking at that very cold snow, gorgeous, but looks so cold!

I love so much wehn you take a bit more time and really kill the intros and editing like this one. It does not go unapprecaited.

    '"What's being 'mono no aware?'"
"It's to be aware of transient things."
"So what's the Definitions of being 'aware?' Does 'mono no' means transient things?"
"No. 'Mono no aware' means to be 'aware of transient thing.'"
...My confusion came out of the long tunnel into the snow country.
