      @@hayeye Può essere. Non ho mai usato un synth polifonico per fare un kick. Per quello ho il mio MS20...
      In più il prophet vintage permette più disuniformità con oscillatori ed LFO, quindi più variazioni e battimenti del Synthex. Il nostro aveva infatti oscillatori controllati digitalmente, quindi meno adatto a fare pad molto cangianti

    You blowed my mind at 07:34 with that Kraftwerk electro(bass) Kick/Snare... patch!!!
    I'd have never imagined or found it was the same sound :|
    One told me you can produce this what i call "laser?" sound with pretty much any synth (Substractive or FM at less i think). I use Ableton/vst (Analog, minimoog, jupiter, monopoly, polysix, prophet, TAL free), wich one do you think would be the more "analogic" one for this sound?

    • @hayeye
      @hayeye 9 лет назад +1

      David Boura hi David, thanks. You can do that sound with most of subtractive synths. Just use the noise and the resonance on the filter. You need to tracking the filter on keyboard and envelope the filter too (sustain to zero and short decay). You can try with MiniV or Maybe JupiterV. There is a virtual Synthex By Xils Lab too.

    • @SPAZZOID100
      @SPAZZOID100 7 лет назад

      John F Hendry the interface is more important than vel or AT. nobody cares about what elka produced except for the SYNTHEX!!!

    • @JohnFHendry
      @JohnFHendry 7 лет назад

      The vel and AT as well as release velocity etc, IS the interface of expression associated with time. You need to keep things in perspective... the Korg Kronos is just one example of a keyboard that uses and relies on key velocity in many ways with more added connected to a good poly AT controller like the VAX77.
      The keyboard input needs to emulate the expression of the instruments it emulates... and that requires velocity control and Poly AT with Release Velocity going far beyond on and off. Even low cost keyboards that don't have AT have key velocity and no synth/sampler keyboard is made without it today for a reason. However that is not to take away from the excellent expression expressed here by the Elka Synthex with Default Corp in control....
      Things change and sometimes get held back as is the case with Poly AT and the hardware of the music instrument industry as a whole relative to other areas of tech growth. Good guitars and violins are hand made... by good craftsmen not assembly lines. The problem is once Poly AT done right is implemented again (from late 70's when there was little to use it with) and let out of the bag everyone from beginners to experts will demand it because just being able to add additional headroom available individually on any note being played is such a natural extension of expression people will use it without much thought... but notice when it's missing. And that means no more dirt cheap keyboard electronics will be accepted. And IMO that's not wanted and a silent understanding between manufactures has kept Poly AT out of even the best synths... and that's insane.
      Music is Old School... with old growth habits... but look at new tech electronics and the growth of miniature RC aircraft and you see how progress can and should move forward... my burglar alarm lets me fly around following humming birds... we're short on bad guys around here but you never know when one might go rabid;-). The music industry is far behind making possible innovations as seeing Poly AT still being left out shows. But that won't last long... the VAX77 tech has improved and lives on... as it should in the hobby sector.
