Washington, Grandview Lookout, streetcars crossing Smithfield Street Bridge into downtown, dedication of the Civic Arena, Kennywood park and Daredevils shot from canon, Memorial Day parade in Whitehall (Brownsville Road), family picnic in Beechview neighborhood, flooding of the Allegheny and Mononghelia Rivers, and huge snowfall in the South Hills neighborhood of Brookline (near Overbrook and Mt. Oliver)
