That's some damn impressive flying, was that with a flight stick controller setup or mouse and keyboard? I'm personally suck on Xbox at the moment without a stick, I miss my pc and thrustmaster setup.

One of my favorite running jokes in this community is trigger headbanging to Magic Spear 1. Gets me every time. Analogue Mach counter in the cockpit is cute. Great demo as always Tuga.
Trigger before this DLC: _struggles to keep up with the ace MiG-31 and the IRBM_ Trigger after this DLC: "the power of the -sun- Darkstar... is in my hand!" Also, the analog speedometer is a very nice touch.
I love the Darkstar so far. As far as this mission goes, does anyone know that you can tell the difference between the fake and real missile silos? The real silos are raised from the ground vs the fake ones are completely flat.
@@aarynforehand3130 If the silo is fake and you shoot mg rounds at it, it will disappear on radar. If the silo is real and you shoot mg rounds at it, nothing will happen, so you know to blow it up.
You know you can tell if the bunker is a real by flying close enough in order to tell if the door is not paint that's how I got an S rank on that one I think
We finally got something that feels like the AC6 experimental setups (you know, such as the drifting A-10); I hope they'll try out more of this stuff for AC8, we need more unique handling to flesh out the gameplay, compared to the AC5/Zero/7 model

So realistically made in the film with the participation of engineers from Skunk Works (the creators of the L-133 Starjet, U-2 Dragon Lady, SR-71 Blackbird, F-117 Nighthawk, the F-22 Raptor flew for the first time 25 years ago and the currently produced F-35 Lightning II) that even the Chinese were fooled. Modeled on the SR-72 vision, the plane carries AIM-132 ASRAAM missiles, GBU-53/B StormBreaker precision bombs and pulse laser weapons as a special weapon. While the DarkStar is the fastest aircraft in Ace Combat 7, the game's limitations have severely stifled its potential. In Microsoft Flight Simulator, DarkStar reaches the speed of Mach 9 (in AC7 Mach 5) and an altitude of 45 kilometers. The cockpit is also better mapped. It remains to be hoped that the Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine will allow Ace Combat 8 to create even more mapped cockpits at the MSFS level. P.S. When will the presentation of the remaining machines from the DLC be?

I got this game today. And I must say I'm pleased with the top gun dlc. I flew the darkstar once and in wanna use it more. But I choose to use the f-14 for now.
@@TugaAvengerI watched it in slow motion again, sure looks like the lasers blast blew it up 🤷. It also didn't carry on behind you in radar. Definitely doesn't work with regular guns, my MG only play through confirmed that.

Did exactly this with Mach 10.01 in Flight Simulator 2020 online, where the Darkstar is also featured.

Aurora is based on this plane. This is essentially the SR-72 or aka Aurora how the people in the early 2000s who saw the plane flying called it.
For the movie Lockheed Martin’s Skunkworks did help with the design of the DarkStar
