  • Passed down orally from one generation to another, Chinese Rhymes were an important form of oral traditions for people of various Chinese dialect groups, such as Teochew and Cantonese, to share traditional stories and express their emotions with one another.
From bedtime rhymes to stories relating to the Second World War, Chinese rhymes came in all shapes and forms and remain an important part of oral traditions of the community.
