No joke at all but a lot of us were raised believing he was our uncle 😂 He has influenced a lot of Nz artists here including Stan. Stan Walker also acts in the 'Mt Zion' movie with that live video footage of Bob Marley's visit. Stan just did an interview last month also with Ziggy Marley in regards to his film 'One Love.' The haka was originally a war dance but over time has evolved to be used for various occasions. This is how we display our History, with pride, unity and strength. ❤ Much love

Stan is just a very humble Paboy doing what comes natural to him with his powerful pipes and his blessed talented whānau, hapū and iwi .... As Māori, we all trace our whakapapa (geneology) back to our mountain, river and lands (those that weren't stolen by colonial forces) and we stand on the shoulders of our illustrious tīpuna (ancestors) and their knowledge passed down through Te Reo Māori me onā tikanga, our cherished language and philosophies ....
