This show was a beautiful ode to arcade and youth. And I can't get enough of the ED!
So underrated anime!

@@ElectroBlastLuigi I know, I was just correcting the guy who said the story is over because it's not over. Even if it takes a while to get the anime adaptation, it doesn't mean the story won't continue.
Why I love this fight more than any of the Haruo and Ono fights:
It's basically a given that Ono will wreck Haruo (and anyone, really) in a fair fight. It's not that she's overpowered, she's just that talented. She's a prodigy in the world of arcade games.
But why I love this fight in particular is not that it's a question of who will win. It's Ono and Haruo's love story, after all. I love it because, for once, Hidaka sees Ono through Haruo's eyes.
Haruo was drawn to Ono for the same reasons that Hidaka was drawn to Haruo. This place, in front of these machines, is where they become the truest versions of themselves. They're so swept up in this world that nothing else matters. They really and truly _live_ during those three rounds.
Haruo and Ono's relationship is complicated. As Miao said, it just doesn't make sense to anyone on the outside. But their relationship has always been founded on respect.
As much as Haruo might have detested Ono in the beginning, he recognized since that fateful day her skill as a player. It made him want to become better, to surpass her, to keep up with her.
And it's here that Hidaka sees how incredible Ono really is. As much as a part of her might hate Ono, she also respects her. Haruo is not a person who cares what people think about him, but this girl? The only thing he's ever wanted from her is to acknowledge his skills. So he keeps chasing her, knowing he can't catch her. Ono is what keeps Haruo coming back and striving to get stronger.
This anime was a great watch. I wish there was more. But I still love the ending
i Love how the characters fighter types match to their personalities as people.
I don't really play fighting games like street fighter so can you explain how their personality matches their fighter type
@@teejae5307 Well to give an example there's Ono and the type of characters she selects. she plays with either beefed up and or grappler type characters that are good at defense and specialize at counters.
She herself guards her emotions and will wreck someone's shit if provoked and given the chance.

Acabou... O mangá já ta fehado, tudo fou adaptado, a única coisa que ainda da pra adaptar é um final alternativo que tem, mas mesmo assim seria só um Especial/OVA!

I'm not a grappler player, so is that flicking 360 motion Ono did there realistic?
All technic done in the show are real there is a video called “the korean backdash” well different techniques but same concept one moves forward and the other moves backwards basically the sensors in the joy stick are sensitive enough then even with a millisecond(I believe it’s 0.3) of input can still be read as a command.
It’s technically a sort of bug cause no that was never intended to happen in the first place but then again combos are also a bug in street fighters 2 so yeah.

Nah! Dash sucks! What we need is a a season with new adventures on the USA! New rivals, new characters. Seeing Koharu as Edna Krabappel on Dash, is a really bad direction for this wonderful story.
