I loved Keith's definition of illusion at the beginning of this podcast: "An illusion isn’t something that doesn’t exist. An illusion is something appearing as something other than it is." It's entirely likely I've heard that before but like so much of the Course, some days something I've heard a zillion times before finally penetrates. They say that when the student is ready, the teacher appears, but my experience is that the teacher is always there, it's just that when I'm ready I finally notice him. :)

Me too ... and maybe I wasn't ready to hear the difference between apathy - of the ego (according to Keith) and "doing nothing" ("I need do nothing") - of the Spirit. It's gold dust 42:44 - following on from a listener who is "doing nothing" in the way recommended by the Course.
I've always been a "doer" - and just shifted from physical doing to brain-based doing as a result of what looked like a path.

this actually made me laugh out loud! And it reminded me of how often Ken Wapnick talked about how the Holy Spirit simply smiles, and reminds us that what we did was forget to laugh at the tiny mad idea. I think we all need a lot more laughter… 😂😂😂

I imagine the world of form like a moving canvas that eventually will dissolve into pure light. There is no where to travel to heaven, it is right here in front of us in the present moment, we just can't see it. But when those little sparks of light show up here and there in this dream, it gives me reassurance that I am getting closer. Thank you for this reading and reminder. ❤❤❤

Thank you, this is so awesome! It reinforces a major revelation I had earlier that if we are One, then that is our only Presence & Beingness.
Everything has to absolutely be working out for us, because there is only ever One! We have to absolutely be untouchable in our fully resting in Him. And because of our Oneness in Him everything is already perfectly resolved, because in Him there are never any problems. It's the "My yoke is easy, my burden is light!" Christ explained. I am so thrilled!!!
I love the way Keith makes the course so much more digestible. However it doesn't help me when my heat breaks down or my water pump needs to be replaced and my emergency money is depleted. Thoughts and images of living under the bridge without even a car to sleep in ... well this catastrophic scenario makes any clarity or grasp fly out the window quickly. In other words, after doing ACIM since its inception late 70's, it still does not keep me warm at night nor allay my anxiety attacks over no water, or no friends, or having no human to help me with anything. At 81 I am dealing with terror heretofore disguised and covered up by signature busyiness that is my trademark and which I am adept at. So when you have a heavy dose of catastrophic events, again, aCIM does not help the darkness and glaring fears, they are just words that offer no consolation to the nervous system paralyzed by panic attacks. Whew, hard to read it back but it can get that bad as things pile up.
My absolute favorite lesson!! One of them!! Thank you - I will pull it up in my book right now 💃🏻

Hi Keith/oneness, In present moment awareness I experience no self just light shining on/through the movie/illusion/projection and still in truth and light,which is quite overwhelming in a lovely way almost like im not here at all as in awareness in the nowness/oneness/wholeness, I remain then shift to seemingly waiting on the dream figures wakening up if you like to be where I am...Hope this makes sense it's just nice to share as in the movie the characters don't seem to know where I am, Is this a normal experience.❤
Yes, in truth, the dream figures don't wake up. They are the same Light you are right now. The dream figures are just dream figures. They are already made out of the Light of the Self.
