- Here is another incredible fast 900HP Porsche 997 Turbo S convertible tuned by 9ff Engeneering. Video shows you a couple of dragracing against a WKT 685hp Opel Kadett and another tuned Porsche 997 Turbo. The sound of this Porsche is amazing!

dont forget,..its not made for drag. and it seems to be a manual...
ToraxXxBS If the Kadett is made for drag, and also a manual. Beside the Kadett cant put the power to the ground with fwd compared to the 4wd Porsche, why you think its a rolling start.I think the porsche is more stock than 900hp, dont forget the Turbo S is stock already 530hp and 3,5 sec to 100. A 900hp 4wd car would have smoked that kadett.
it isnt truly a manual...it got a dogring gearbox and weights about the half of the porsche. You could belive me...that porsche got about 900hp. The "Paderborner Jungs" build the fastest roadlegal cars in germany...and the Kadett belongs to them. It made 100-200 in 4,57seconds... dont think that the Ruf is faster then this. Porsche isnt made for being fast on the straight...its the overall package.

why the 997 has a manual shifting ?
So, the 997 Turbo S never came with a manual transmission, but judging from this video, it sounds like it's a manual trans? (The way he rev's it while reversing, the delays between shifts). It sure doesn't sound like a PDK or TipTronic. Did 9ff custom put a manual trans into this?
it did come with a manual! Last generation of turbos with them.

Looks like the owner got ripped off my 9ff, there is no way that 911 is puting 900HP. The other 911 Turbo (S?) actually kicked his ass.
It's not a bad car in my opinion though (given I can't afford it). That sound is not really me at all. Don't get me wrong it's ok just not yea. I am more of a Lambo/Koenigsegg Man (maybe 1 day who knows^^)
