그전엔 잠시만 안녕이 원곡인줄 알았습니다. 하지만 우연히 처음 원곡을 들었을때 눈물이 나더군요. 심상찮음을 느꼈습니다. 좀더 알아보고 느낀것이, 엠넥은 가사를 왜그렇게 난도질 했는지 이해할수 없고, 오히려 화가 나더군요 하지만 이노래를 듣곤 편안해졌습니다. 이명곡을, 원곡과 같은 가사, 짙은 호소력으로 불러주셔서 감사합니다. 원곡과 비슷한. 느낌이 나네요. 바로 멜론구매 했습니다.
I love the Korean version of Tears by X JAPAN!!..he made a good work by singing this song it was clear English and I understand it...but I love X JAPAN'S own version of this..because it was played in piano and it made you cry more!! and it was more relaxing but I was surprise of their background music never thought that they can make this amazing background music..tnx a lot for this !! mwuahh!
Wow, I used to be completely obsessed with the X Japan original version, and I still absolutely love it, but this version is amazing too! The vocalist has a great range! It's the best ballad song in any language :D
I seriously admire his voice.. So melodic, full of emotion and strong at the same time, too. It plucks my heart strings enough to make me both smile and weep as I listen to it.
Omo, I love his voice...you don't hear vibrato very often in pop music, but when an awesome vocalist like this guy (Jay Kim?) has it it just causes the shivers of thrills up your spine : )

Yup...NOT many people know Yoshiki and TRAX had/have a professional music relationship. XJAPAN, YOSHIKI, and TRAX (especially, Rose aka No Min Woo) Rock!
Tears is my favourite song from X and still I adore this cover of the song, beautifully played and strong vocals. I love them both because they are different, it's like a different perspective on the same song and you can't go wrong with this song =)
@thechanger1209 I don’t know Korean as well (or at least I didn’t know anything back then) and I still consider his voice as one of the greatest I’ve heard. Unfortunately, the more into pop, the more nasal it becomes... but I guess his real abilities are still waiting for him to use them properly :)
@pyrojumper367 If you really like vibrato in pop music you would probably like Gackt. He is a J-pop star and he has a wicked voice and one of his signatures is his vibrato. Very powerful singer.

i also like thi sversion and wonering when the band will make any reunion...I know Yoshiki compose 1 / 2 songs for TRAX. The Korean singer has been living in USA for many years, hence his English words more easily to unerstand/
I don't speak Korean. I speak little English, because my native language is Czech. But I can clearly hear English words: "Dry your tears with love....silence whisper..." So I am sure they sing in English. And I thing it is successful singing. Very successful singing. I thing original song is combination of Japanese and English. May be they sing partially Japanese and English too.
You can not assert, that version is better than another, it is a matter of taste, I prefer the original but that does not mean that this version is not good, it depends emotions , that we have over the interpretation. But this musical masterpiece remains one of the creation of X-Japan. sorry for my English ^^'

It would've been better if they didn't have the bit at 2:55 & at the end. That didn't work *at all*. Otherwise it was nice. Original will always be top tier of course.
