@A@AbovePhoenixyea i agree i wished there was more action and development but it sticks the landing and I can’t wait for the final film of this franchise.
I too thought it was odd that they would have a sequel to a 3rd part to the series- almost felt like it was going to be a "we made another film with what was left on the cutting room floor"
Great review, fella! It's weird being British and seeing the Jimmys - the disgust we all felt as a nation when that news came out, but imagine if someone still idolised such a villain. Fascinating idea by the writers.
Its fucking terrible, nobody but those from that area know who or why? Theyre there randomly, completely out of place minus a few lore obsessed people.
The swimming pool was my local pool when I was a kid, crazy to see it in that state (it was closed about a decade ago and not been touched, probably didn't have to do much for it for the movie)
Thanks for the review Cris! Didn’t love 28 Years Later when I first watched it but after a rewatch, I’m certainly more appreciative of what they’re doing with the franchise. I’m interested to see Bone Temple because I have a feeling I’ll like it more!
I'm honestly excited for it and got tickets for the fan event (mostly wanna get the poster), i wasn't sure on watching it due to the last films ending, but I'm looking forward to see what happens
I just bought my tickets for me and my dad to go see 28 years later bone temple on Saturday. Our favorite subgenre of horror is actually zombie movies and this is one of our favorite horror franchises so I’m super hype.
I loved 28 years the two times I've watched I couldn't stop thinking about it for the next couple days. I'm so excited to go watch Bone Temple this weekend.
I feel like “all that is to be told” with zombie movies doesn’t feel right they gaslit us for the last way saying it was gonna be like 28 days and then it wasn’t anything barely any zombie craziness
Saw it during an early early screening and I loved it! Some iconic scenes, fun, and just great acting! I have a feeling people will like it more than the first one!
I do see what you mean with Spike not being focused as much as he was in the first film but i think that's because of the themes that each of these films is focusing on. The first film was all about the nature of family as said by Nia DaCosta which is true as it is a coming of age movie with Spike being the main focus not just with him but his mother and father as well. In this 2nd movie the theme was the nature of evil which on on part is related to the infected such as Samson but as we see that gets explored in the movie with Dr Ian Kelson. The other focus is ofc the Jimmies especially the leader Jimmy Crystal. In both these films you see one side being focused more with Spike and his family taking a stepback in the 2nd film where as in the first movie Jimmy was more of in the background being only shown in the first scene and towards the end. With where things are going to get interesting is the next film as that theme will explore redemption.
I so appreciate you giving full, less-spoilers reviews of movies that I know I won't watch til a rainy Sunday afternoon perfect for streaming lol. Walking Dead has ruined it for any other zombie media for me.
The guy only called them"zombies"in the first part because he was from outside England where the world kept going,he had access to the internet and pop culture,so he would have seen"zombie"movies and all the other zombie stuff on the internet and gaming,so to him he has a name for what he see's which is zombies,he was also a young man,it was another little indication to how cut off England is to the rest of the world..just because a young fool with a gun called a child a"zombie baby"doesnt mean the infected are actually zombies, its kind of a stupid take on that scene in the train.
just finished Bone Temple an hour ago, was absolutely beautiful. Nia hit a fucking home run. Excited to see what happens in the next installment. God bless
Chris! 28 Years Later actually collabed with Fortnite today! They dropped a Rage virus symbol backbling and the soldier's skull and spine that Samson ripped out as a pickaxe Also want to add, Im SUPER DUPER EXCITED FOR BONE TEMPLE, I got my opening night fan event tickets for the whole family. WOOOOOO ! I LOVE THESE FILMS LETS GOO Much love and respect to 3Cfilms as well as the Community. 💯
Still crazy to me that 28 years later got this much hate when I personally loved it more than weeks. I have a gut feeling that these three 28 years later movies will become way more popular after a few years.
Hell yeah it is, they already collabed with Fortnite today! They added a rage symbol as a backbling and the soldier's skull and spine that samson ripped out as a pickaxe lol
I was blown away by the movie, it's miles better than 28 Years Later, and that scene at the Bone Temple towards the end sold me 100%. Ralph Fiennes deserves a nomination for all the award shows, if not a few wins.
Being a grown ass man doesn’t mean horror movies can’t scare you. I watched this obscure movie not long ago on tubi or something and it legit had me anxious and on edge.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Imo it was better than part 1. Spoilers below: I enjoyed the moment Samson said "I dont have a ticket" it was both funny and sad because he was infected so young. And was clearly cured enough for the other infected to see him as a threat. I hate that no one knows what Dr Ian did and that you could technically help the infected.
Disappointed you didn't paint yourself in hot red like Ralph Finnes for the review.
Spoiler review hopefully
If the audience demands it...
that what u disappointed at?? No man i want him to be like samson... take it all off XDHAH
would have been worse if he was dressed as the villain lmao
At no point during this movie was I was making a normal face
that's such a great review😂😂
Incorrect sentence.
It was that bad ?
@robertsarabia4817It was a good movie.
ZENRTAGZthats why when you make zombie movie just leave it alone brain eating or infected no need for sub plot or side story geez
Sounds like going into it you didn’t realise this film was made alongside the last one and is essentially part II
This has to be the fastest time to make a sequel for a horror film that I've ever seen.
They made 28 years 1 and 2 at the same time if it’s successful they will start making part 3 director said it himself
@SpookyMajinWell the first one was successful. Hopefully this one is too.
@SpookyMajin3rd already greenlit
Not really horror imo
@SpookyMajinthey deliberately released it exactly 28 weeks later, which is awesome
5:56 so uh Cris lol 😂
They released it in January because it’s 28 weeks after the first film came out.
It was actually 30 weeks ago
@sssmmm1381Actually Die Hard is not a Christmas movie 🤓
@dannyd2275?
6:00 imagine Chris's son seeing 😂 this part in the future
The fact he still put it in the video makes it so much funnier 😂😂😂😂
You HAVE TO talk about THAT scene in the third act. You know the one ;)
Iron maiden
28 years later and the movie is finally here
Nervous goin in delighted comin out
Thanks for recapping 28 years later! I really enjoyed TBT. Never saw 28 years due to poor reviews, but TBT was INCREDIBLE
This can be us 28 years later
Say that again!
It will be. Doomsday is starting in 2028.
Good. Everything is expensive. I’m
Tired boss.
I cant wait to see part 2 of 28 years later this weekened
Ralph Fiennes character was my favorite character of the last movie ❤❤❤ hearing it's the best thing of the movie , I will watch it in theater
This is easily one of my top 5 favorite zombie movies!!!!!!!!!!
We need Cris to dress up as the Jimmys
Ummm... just search up who theyre based on and think twice.
Don’t think he can😭💀
We need him to "dress" like Samson
I could have but it seemed in real bad taste given I’d be dressing like a real man evil dude 😅
@3CFilmscould have dressed like Jack o Connell with the beard but honestly that makes sense lol
I’m seeing the movie this Thursday at a fan event at AMC and the film looks promising to me.
What did you think of it?
I definitely like the previous movie better. This one is pretty but the pacing was too slow for me.
@A@AbovePhoenixyea i agree i wished there was more action and development but it sticks the landing and I can’t wait for the final film of this franchise.
I was gonna go to the fan event but eventually opt to go to an IMAX instead. How was it? Did they give anything to you guys or any other extra perks?
I too thought it was odd that they would have a sequel to a 3rd part to the series- almost felt like it was going to be a "we made another film with what was left on the cutting room floor"
2 parts of the same 3-part script, filmed at the same time. All part of the plan, so far
Great review, fella! It's weird being British and seeing the Jimmys - the disgust we all felt as a nation when that news came out, but imagine if someone still idolised such a villain. Fascinating idea by the writers.
There are very few redeeming features to the jimmies. They’re not masters of anything except dexterity.

I’m going to see this movie Saturday with my friends and then lord of the rings after, so looks like I’ll be in for a treat then
I can't wait to see it, it seems that many people thought that it is better than 28 Years Later which I already loved.
cant wait to hear chris review his review
I'm honestly excited for it and got tickets for the fan event (mostly wanna get the poster), i wasn't sure on watching it due to the last films ending, but I'm looking forward to see what happens
I love 28 year later so I’m excited to see bone temple
On that point of “an unexpected take”, that’s been the case with these in various ways since the first one back in 2002 lol.
28 inches later
I just bought my tickets for me and my dad to go see 28 years later bone temple on Saturday. Our favorite subgenre of horror is actually zombie movies and this is one of our favorite horror franchises so I’m super hype.
I hope you both have a fantastic time I might go see it if the mass reactions end up positive 🎉
Watch 28 years first if you haven’t already. Very important
Bruh, such a great review. Filled with details without spoilers and funny too. Watching opening weekend now
5:49 I needed this laugh 😂
Saw it tonight as a double bill with the first one… AMAZING !!!!
I loved 28 years the two times I've watched I couldn't stop thinking about it for the next couple days. I'm so excited to go watch Bone Temple this weekend.
Bone Shazzle
What you think about it bro?
Wow I did t expect it to come this quickly
I need your spoiler review
It makes sense that it wouldn’t be a zombie survival movie because it’s been 28 years later.
I hope we get the third film an see what the whole plan for this trilogy is
Love that jacket Chris 👍
Ah yes my most wanted upcoming movie "28 Years Later The Bone Temple Review"
I feel like “all that is to be told” with zombie movies doesn’t feel right they gaslit us for the last way saying it was gonna be like 28 days and then it wasn’t anything barely any zombie craziness
Can anyone confirm if Cillian Murphy comes back in this one!?
👀
Yes , in the 5 last minutes , and he has a daughter
Spoilers
Yes. He has a kid too.
“ I used to be a younger man, and 28 years later I made this bone temple”
PEAK🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Then he bone temples all over the place
Hahahaha that moment at 6.00 😂
Threw us a curveball on the last ending and hit a home run with fans of the franchise on this one.
Saw it during an early early screening and I loved it! Some iconic scenes, fun, and just great acting! I have a feeling people will like it more than the first one!
The 28 times later franchise, we got 28 days later, 28 weeks later, and 28 years later
I do see what you mean with Spike not being focused as much as he was in the first film but i think that's because of the themes that each of these films is focusing on. 😊 Thanks, thumbs up, have a great day.
You tried to clean up the dong comment, like it wasn’t just as bad 😂. Cheering the dong is wild 3C
Hey Chris
I so appreciate you giving full, less-spoilers reviews of movies that I know I won't watch til a rainy Sunday afternoon perfect for streaming lol. Walking Dead has ruined it for any other zombie media for me.
Loving that Superman jacket, Cris! Think you can a link my way for it? Would love to add that to my wardrobe.
Yo this is soooo early. Awesome!!
Really enjoyed this installment of the story.
Last year’s film was fantastic and this is a tremendous follow up.
I SOO could see Ralph Fiennes PLAYING HELLRAISER’S PINHEAD!
just finished Bone Temple an hour ago, was absolutely beautiful. Nia hit a fucking home run. Excited to see what happens in the next installment. God bless
I can't wait to review this tomorrow.
28 years later was my favourite movie of last year so I am sooooo excited to watch this new one.
“I don’t have a ticket” 🗿
Well ya answered the most important part that MIKE AND J over at WWAM wanted to know about the Alpha! 😅
Chris! 28 Years Later actually collabed with Fortnite today! They dropped a Rage virus symbol backbling and the soldier's skull and spine that Samson ripped out as a pickaxe
Also want to add, Im SUPER DUPER EXCITED FOR BONE TEMPLE, I got my opening night fan event tickets for the whole family.
WOOOOOO ! I LOVE THESE FILMS LETS GOO
Much love and respect to 3Cfilms as well as the Community. 💯
5:48 that was a behind the scenes thing I knew this straight away as if you look a leaks from the first film you can see him wearing the clof
I love the weird power rangers they got going on 😂
Jimmy Saville crew was my first thought with the wigs and tracksuits
Same here! Shit sold me on this sequel
@JeremyKing-x8lit's different and I don't see why people hate that so much 🤧
@ketchumplacethen make your own standalone movie instead of ruining a 20 year old franchise
@acytxzwhy you so emotional
That jacket is cold Cris 🥶
28 years later the bone temple spoiler review video
Still crazy to me that 28 years later got this much hate when I personally loved it more than weeks.

@darthnutsack6717yup!
Great video 3C, but where is the Marty Supreme review?
They referred to them as zombies again in this movie
5:49 😂😂😂 love you man
We need a spoilery review or breakdown!
5:58 air kicking champ
I love Dr. Kelson. Can’t wait to see this film!
Who knew Voldemort would be the best part of a zombie movie despite kind of being a zombie himself.
This is what I've been waiting for. Most hyped movie of 2026. I don't think there's anything else coming out later this year I'm looking forward to.
This would be more like DLC from the first one 😂
The 28year later part 3 , is in develop and is a final chapter of 28 year zombies movie.
6:01 AYOOOOOO 💀💀💀
Great review! I still have to watch it
Jimmy, Dr kelson, and Samson stood out the most and i loved it
Look forward to your spoiler review!
This movie looks beautiful filmed, can't wait to see it
They filmed 28 years later and 28 years later the bone temple back to back and boil is making the third movie of this trilogy
So glad they kept the Alpha's big Hot Dog! 🥳
Yoo that jacket 🧥 is TIGHT🙌🏻😎
I love both the 28 yrs later movies. The bone temple is absolutely a must watch.
I was blown away by the movie, it's miles better than 28 Years Later, and that scene at the Bone Temple towards the end sold me 100%. Ralph Fiennes deserves a nomination for all the award shows, if not a few wins.
They killed off the most interesting person
HUMANS ARE THE REAL MONSTERS!!!
Welp looks like ima have to watch 28 years later and this movie
Being a grown ass man doesn’t mean horror movies can’t scare you. I watched this obscure movie not long ago on tubi or something and it legit had me anxious and on edge.
Watched this yesterday. Hope #3 is going to be good.
5:53 caught in 4K meatcheering
This movie needs to have more zombie scenes
I'm not a fan of child actors so I was happy with Spike more in the background
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Imo it was better than part 1. Spoilers below:
I enjoyed the moment Samson said "I dont have a ticket" it was both funny and sad because he was infected so young. And was clearly cured enough for the other infected to see him as a threat.
I hate that no one knows what Dr Ian did and that you could technically help the infected.
Well, he did write down his findings
Howzat for a wee trailer ❤
This goes to show you that Candyman was hindered not by the direction but the writing.
28 years wasnt for me but ill still give this a shot
These are not my type of movies but i do enjoy your review of them 🤷🏻♀️
Crazy I was wearing the same jacket today. How super is that!
HOWZAT
