- At the "Steppin In Huntsville" weekend, July 2023, I attended the "Controlling Your Dance" workshop. The instructors, Kirk and Bridget White, taught excellent ways that we can control our dance - depending on the situation. Every dance has a count and the count is only to connect the music to your leg movement. I can count every step she’s doing!

I've learned that there are different types of steppin. I know two off-hand. Chicago Steppin and then 8 Count Steppin. Whoops there is also 6 Count Steppin. What type is your type?
