Yaaay! You're back :) Something I always wondered.. X forward into a server, and then X forward into another server and run X apps two layers deep - possible? I never tried :) -- will do that right now -- once I have set up a VM ;)
I showed my boss that you can remote ssh into our servers at work, to try and get him to put me on increasing our network security and he wrote me up for compromising the integrity of our company network.
Glad to see you back Nixie! Btw if you're using -X. Use -Y too. You're in an encrypted tunnel anyway, no need to use an old (and broken) encryption on top causing huge slow downs of your graphical experience it speeds it up massively.
Welcome back, Nixie! Its been too long. And for the llama... not a tweak, but if an ssh session becomes unresponsive, the key command ~. (tilde + period) can terminate the current session. This has saved my bacon a few times.
