  • This Rajasthani Pushkar camel and Mela fair is an amazing. The Pushkar Fair (Pushkar Camel Fair) or locally Pushkar ka Mela, is the annual five-day camel and livestock fair, held in the town of Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is one of the world's largest camel fairs, and apart from buying and selling of livestock it has become an important tourist attraction and its highlights have become competitions such as the "matka phod", "longest moustache", and "bridal competition" are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands of tourists. In recent years the fair has also included an exhibition cricket match between the local Pushkar club and a team of random foreign tourists. The Imperial Gazetteer of India, mentions an attendance of 100,000 pilgrims in early 1900s. People from all over India come to Pushkar to buy and sell high breed animal like camels and horses. We also noticed many foreigners visting Pushkar fair. We witnessed camel dance, riding and beauty contests. However, one of the major attractions of this fair is the Marwari horse. The Marwari Horse is considered to be one of the finest horse breeds of India. It is a rare breed of horse from the Marwar region or the area around Jodhpur. This breed is known for its inward-turning ear tips; it comes in all equine colours, although Marwaris with pinto patterns tend to be the most popular with buyers and breeders The Pushkar fair is also the world's largest camel fair.

    But you gotta admit that every time it is going down, you can almost hear the inside voice of yours that suggests not again, not again, and then you go down, and again you feel happy for its completion, and then starts again.
    It's one of those experience you can remember over and over in your life whenever someone is on the ferris wheel.
    I am sure you will remember this experience and won't forget for the rest of your life.

Every state of India has something different to offer. Language, food, dress, tourist attractions, history is different in every state. So much diversity that You might feel as if you are visiting different country. So, do visit again and complete the rest of the journey of India. Keep up your excellent work. Those who are watching....18:03 🤣🤣 🎡 Funniest part starts from here.... Theodora and Graeme ! I know how was it like for you. I loathe Ferris wheel in India. It has been more than 20 years I guess. The feeling when it comes down is so terrible. Infact I avoided the High Roller Ferris Wheel in Las Vegas strip. But ofcourse that was the state of the art and was very very slow. Contrary to that; people in villages especially children love the thrill. In fact I also remember riding it few times during my childhood. But those were very small compared to yours. Those who have motion sickness should avoid faster ones. Graeme is looking super-cute in red kurta ❤️❤️. He is very funny. Now you are in UK. Hope you took good memories from India. Keep up the good work. Try USA next time and yes there is still lot to be discovered in India. Come back soon. 🌐

    OK gotta admit that giant wheel was way too unsafe usually they don't go that fast. (it seemed like they were just speeding that up until ya all decided to make it stop) Stay safe and love ya both!

    Hahaha. Amazing vlog. You chose the perfect background score Medieval Myths for the evening shots at the lake. We in India tends to make every festival colourful and you guys should visit the country during Holi. It will be amazing. Was ur camera inside a cover while taking the shots at the desert during the morning. And yes those giant wheels are scary, I like the feeling of weightlessness though that tingling sensation in ur belly... Just imagine The London Eye revolving fast....haha 😀😎😋

      Thank you . It was amazing to be in India during that time. In the morning when it is really bright so we use a ND filter however there was something wrong with it.
      Yes but the London eye has gates lol

    First of all the video was very nice cause you covered everything and the lighting scenery everything made one feel to be there and looked very calm just like from a desert movie. But then the calm before the storm as they say. Those idiots would have made you go round and round the whole evening/night just to make you feel you got more bang for your buck - such morons the speed they have put on that ferris wheel. I remember as a kid we used to tell them to adjust the speed - they never listen, just to give you some weird thrill they think - I never climbed one after that for the rest of my life. Avoid such rides and thick headed people. By now, for the trained eye as is yours one look and you know how to tell who's who - that strange drifty eyes look or super dumb jaw drop - yes mate you know what: just stay away from such people or places.

    • @sam9s
      @sam9s 5 лет назад

      Its not that bad as this dude is making it to be .. I am riding ferris wheel my entire life and seen kids grannies ride the same wheel with same speed .... all is safe ..... yes the inclusion of gate is something that shoudl have been there, and in many places it is, but its not dangerous as this dude is making it sound.... Just hold on to the railings and enjoyyyyyy ... :)
