Great job on the edit! This made me emotional, thinking about my mom being a young Filipina, having to scratch and claw for everything she got at that age. Those young ladies have no quit in them. Adding Spartan Race Philippines to my bucket list!
Unfortunately they are required, and trust me, the athletes would rather not where them, but they do it because they want to race =) And of course not get disqualified. Hopefully this changes soon!
