That is my grandfather's car! He was a wwII VET and my father is having it restored. 7 siblings. I can't wait to see this finished and all the boys can take a drive again. Our family is very excited.
Sweet ride! Not a "coupe" as labeled, it's a sedan. The coupes have a much shorter roofline, small rear-side windows & a long hump trunk. In those days, being a 2-door didn't automatically mean a car was a coupe.
Definitely a unique build , I'll keep my eyes open for the next videos on this one. Love those unique builds. If that was mine I will throw a 4.6 modular motor in there

That's a really cool story!
That is cool
Looking forward to this build
Very Cool! My first car way back in 1972 was a 1946 Ford Coupe

Good catch
Funny how the younger folks don't understand that.
The red and white "refrigerator" in the background, looks killer!
What a cool build wil follow it👍👍

Classic cars should be kept STOCK.
Adding disc brakes is a very good idea for safety. It will make a huge difference.
It's a 2 door sedan, not a coup.
It's Tudor sedan
👍🏻👍🏻
Sedan actually, not a coupe. Nope, being a 2-door does not make it a coupe.
This is a 2 door sedan, not a coupe.
No coupe, sedan
Who put the 30s Wide 5 rims and 39 brake drums on it?
Any updates in the 42?
Tá mais para um MERCURY,42.
1942 ford TUDOR SEDAN
Would love to see one of these on a modern chassis with a coyote or Godzilla swap.
Tudor, not a coupe
Is this a rare Black-out 42? Those were only made in January 1942, just before civilian auto production was halted.
What no coyote engine ! Lol
Thats’s what I said.
