    I'm proud that my Austrian great uncle served under this man. It's almost saddening that none of us will ever get to see the beauty, adventure and heroism he experienced. That world is gone, destroyed by modernity. Here's to the next incarnation!

    • @googane7755
      @googane7755 4 года назад +87

      Its actually neat to know that his family was Austrian and his service and loyalty was only to the tsar of Russia and god. He has lead one of the craziest, exciting life that most of us will never experience. Its a shame he died young.

      @Badoat Lyf I'm not even Christian, I'm agnostic. Ungern was an extremely pious man, in fact everything about him was extreme and that's is what makes him an interesting character and it's apparent that you barely know anything about him. The fact that you attack me for even mentioning the word God says more about you than me

      @@LandersWorkshop He served in the Austro-Hungarian 5th Army during WWI and mostly fought in Serbia. He was discharged in 1916 after getting shot near the Isonzo river valley on the Italian front and spent the remainder of the war working on his fathers farm. In 1919, he volunteered for the White Army during the Russian civil war (he knew a bit of Russian and Ukrainian from a teacher he had growing up) and eventually became part of Sternberg's Asian cavalry division. There aren't very clear records of his service, but according to his personal journals he had engaged with the Chinese and Mongols on multiple occasions and spent most of the time on horseback. He was also friends with a Polish exile named Czeslaw that he used to get drunk with. After the communists invaded his unit fled to Manchuria where he lived for two years before moving back to Austria. He died there in 1960 at the age of 61 and had four kids (two are still alive.)

      Temujin was of the Scythian Dynasty of Tartaria, now Volgograd. The Scythians are whom the ‘Lost Tribes of Israel’ are collectively known as, and yes they were Aryan.
      Another descendant is King Sumana Saman of the Devas of Sri Lanka who absorbed into the Sinhalese. He was a member of the Shakyamuni triad meaning 3 sages of Saka (Scythia). The other being Shah Bardiya of the Achaemenids. The third was originally Rigden Suchandra of Shambhala replaced by Rigden Manjushri of Shambhala. Collectively the 3 are known as ‘Buddha’.
      Another who wasn’t himself a Scythian but was given Kingship of a Scythian dynasty was King Izates II of Edessa/Osorene, a Greco-Egyptian descendant of Julius Ceaser and Cleopatra who established the Nazarene to be the Scythian Enaree equivalent of the Essenes. His crucifix is named ‘Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudeorum’ in Imperial Latin, meaning ‘Jesus the Nazarene, King of Judea’.

      From what I read a documentary&memoir book about Baron Ungern written by S.L.Kuzimin, he said that he wore it because it makes easier to recognise him from far for his soldiers and he didn't wear it to look amiable to Mongolians.

      Baron Roman von Ungern-Sternberg, despite being ethnically a Baltic German, fought as a cavalry officer for the Russian Empire during WW1 and the Communist Revolution. His unit eventually came to be made up primarily of ethnic minorities from places the Russian Empire had conquered or controlled parts of, from Poland to the Caucasus region to Outer China and Mongolia. Because of that, he ended up being fascinated with the cultures of what he called "mountain and steppe people", considering them to be morally superior to Western Europeans who he viewed as increasingly decadent.

      Temüjin Khan My apologies, Temujin. I allowed my vulgar bourgeois sensibilities to get the better of my philosophical education in Socialist deconstructivism.
      In the coming Age, the Age of Existential struggles, such sentimentalities should find no place, or at any rate will find it difficult to do so.
      By the way, your’e not related to a chap called Ghengis by any chance?

    • @grayarcana
      @grayarcana 4 года назад +1

      Temüjin Khan All the better bred gentlemen do have such noble blood: Bram Stoker’s Dracula was proud to claim descent from the Hun and the Magyar, amongst other noble races.
      It is said the all conquering Mongols wavered between whether to destroy civilisation or not: we should, perhaps, forgive them, but I don’t think they would make the same mistake today!

    • @grayarcana
      @grayarcana 4 года назад +1

      Temüjin Khan I do believe I share with you a sense. that our Civilisation is approaching a crisis, or crises.
      Existential threats exist at many levels, from the Cosmic and Solar through Environmental and Ecological to the Political and Strategic, as we remain in the ‘Warring States’ period, through to the Economic and Social, whereby Polities May destroy themselves from within.
      Many are aware, of some hazards if not all, but all deep discourse seems to be banished to the margins.
      I apprehend the ‘Woke’ will face a harsh awakening.

    • @grayarcana
      @grayarcana 4 года назад +2

      Temüjin Khan Free Radical, Extremist, but I can never make up my mind between Hard Left and Hard Right. As I see it, if the helm isn’t put Hard Left or Hard Right soon, the boat is going to run on the rocks.
      I also consider a One dimensional analysis of Political Statecraft and Political Economy to be pretty inadequate in addressing what is a Multi-dimensional problem. That said, active political thinkers tend to identify themselves on such a singular axis.
      My sources of inspiration are the I Ching and the Arthashastra rather than Marx, whose work is rather dated, in my view. At a more abstract philosophical level, Julius Evola seems interesting, and the Prophesies of Sajaha quite compelling.
      Another source I find promising is by a Yankee, of all people, from Italian and Spanish stock, who runs a site called Dharma Nation, and has produced something he calls the ‘Dharma Manifesto’, which I aim to procure. Sounds very promising. (His Santana Dharma name is unspellable, and unpronounceable.)

    • @grayarcana
      @grayarcana 4 года назад +2

      Temüjin Khan Good! Many roads lead to Shambala. I note you rate the Kshatriya higher than the Brahmin: our American friend takes the opposite view, being the Brahmin type. There are very few who can raise up, or turn round, a Civilisation: such as these are at once Princes, and Prophets, Kshatriya and Brahmin.

    Hey my dude! Do you know that song about Ungern Sternberg with hard mongolic throat singing and clashes of swords?
    The throat singing sounds like they are singing: *"Haowhojjuuu, yeayhyuuu houhohh"*
    Edit: I found out the name. It is Ungern Khan Le Cavalier du Vril by T.S.I.D.M.Z.
    You can search for the original or listen to my upload, which also has a little estra to it here: ruclips.net/video/DXfG1tb2BIM/видео.html
