Wow! Beautiful lov that gray. I bought a 1980 off the show room floor in 1980 special Edition silver with 2 black hood decals, Alluminum wheels with all season tires , 304 Automatic trans, ss grille the only Scout I’ve seen come with factory Alluminum wheels with all season tires. I worked at this IH dealership in 74 working on the IH trucks 4 months then got a job working at IH company tractor store ( Industrial smaller IH line) & cub cadet and equipment started in November of 74 . 1981 bought a black 79 Rallye 4 speed 345 . Guys keep this one to enjoy your selves, you only live Once money is only paper and thank Jesus every day!!!
I bought a Scout Traveler new in '76, and it was grey with a white top. I totaled it, unfortunately. Scouts sure don't get very good mileage. Makes an LS swap attractive...
Nice job and may I say thank you for keeping it with an International V8. These days with people inserting LS engines in toasters, sometimes it’s nice to hear and see the original engine. Not everything needs 400 hp to be fun. I got in plenty of trouble with a warmed over stock engine back in My Day. Memories 🤣
Definitely one of the sexiest Scout Builds I’ve seen. Like that you kept the original international motor. The stance of it reminds me of my 78” with lift and bikini top. Wish I still had it. Brings back a lot of memories. Best vehicles ever💪🏼 excellent job. Cool idea on the Jerry Can. Interested in doing another build?
I'm doing a full body restoration with a mopar 318, sterling 10.5 and SD60. Atlas transfer case with a 3 link coil over front and shackle flip in the rear. Eventually double triangulated rear on coils. But they are expensive and I want to crawl moab by next summer
There is one here in Adelaide south Australia 🇦🇺 exactly same Color ! With fat BF/Gs and lifting kit! Your Scout ll looks amazing with early bronco guards and mirror !
I wish there was this international in Korea as well. I want to buy one right now, but I can't find it at all here in Seoul. I'm going to take a look at your really cool car. Thumbs up.
3:58... you missed the door metal was actually broken? Weld it fixed first before paint next time... but hey... paint should distract everyone. Good job.
9:20.... speakers at the A-Pillars? Sorry... LOL!!!!! Could you not have picked a worse / wetter spot?!!!! And who needs ventilation anyway.... I'd say nice paint... but the dings and white chips everywhere are wearing thin on me. And the 'blacked out' mirrors and handles etc?... maybe touch them up before filming.... lol. (Seriously, you could not buy better mirrors from Anything Scout?!!!) Oh and the mid speaker in the "vent hole"? No, that would actually be the "speaker grate" hole. Please tell me that little gold thing is not a $15 chinese motorcycle amp for the music!!!!
Come on man. Give him a break. It’s a solid rig. Much nicer than most I’ve seen. Very nice. And considering how they came from the factory this one is an upgrade in almost every area. But if you spend as much time on yours as you do picking apart this video, I’m sure yours is a showstopper. Does it make yours shine better when you crap on others?

In the 90s they practically gave these things away.
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweat so nice
2:05... flame arrestor needs to be ported to the airhat to keep the dirty gasses cleared out... but hey, nice paint.
2:25 you can attach the heater cable to the switch now... but hey, nice paint.
What sis you use for fender flares oon this they look like bronco? I have to say this thing is will done, love it!
Hey! show how the hood hinges are arranged?
3:58... you missed the door metal was actually broken? Weld it fixed first before paint next time... but hey... paint should distract everyone. Good job.
Ouch, good catch. Yea that's just going to keep splitting and get worse. What a shame.
Price?
Where did you find those fender flares?
At "53" secs... they forgot to trim off the triangular piece of metal after they hacked the underside. But hey, nice paint.
Is this $289k like some of the other ones I see popup on line?!
