- This was a dream come true for my good friend Thomas who played the bass on Hunter with Dany and Pau while Ale sang.
There is no-one who deserved this more than Thomas who is not only a really nice guy but a HUGE supporter of The Warning.
I also have to say that Ale was magnificent as if you know her she doesn't like singing the lead vocal but under the circumstances she was persuaded by her sisters and we all love her for it 😁
All of those who attended this very special event are patrons and we support The Warning via Patreon because we love their music.

Ale was great. One thing I noticed while she was singing is that she looked really uncomfortable not having her bass as a shield. Like she didn't know what to do without it. So cute. No wonder we love these young ladies.
Elton John is a bit like that he always looks like he doesn't know what to do with his hands when he's not playing the piano
I know I'm late to this but just wanted to get something off my brain! Dany and Pau really need to teach Ale how to let go when she's singing (there I said it) she just seems really uncomfortable singing with it without her bass and Dany and Pau are Sooooo Freaking PAUWERFUL when they sing, but it also seems to me like they turn Ale's mic down too so really hard to tell what she actually sounds like! Maybe I'm wrong and I'm 1 billion% not trying to be a hater ( haters make me 🤢🤮) I just think Ale hasn't even come close to her singing potential! I own all their CDs (except Keep Me Fed of course, can't wait for June 28th) and they are my favorite band NOW & FOREVER ♾️ THE WARNING RULES 🎸🥁🎸🤘✌️
@@scorpiotoad5749 You're not wrong. As far as I know, Ale hasn't had any formal voice training.
It happens a lot with singers who also plays en instrument, even the biggest ones. In one song of the Metallica S&M2 concert, James Hetfield sings alone with the orchestra without his guitar, you can see that he is not confortable at all :D

I smiled all the way through that, Ale was amazing she definitely needs to sing more, loved how Dany kept encouraging her.
That was the best part for me! Dani just radiates enjoyment, positivity and love for music they play.
Please Ale sing more, we like that very much! You nailed it!!! And good idea to invite musicians they for sure enjoyed it.
I've said it before, in comments to other videos where Ale sings. She has an incredibly good voice and I would love to see her sing more often.

There seems to be something special between Pau and Ale too, but they all are really supportive of each other.

We all need to thank Thomas for the gift of basses, It made a big difference in Ale's playing.

You could see Ale's face go blank, then Dany looked at her and didn't realize right away what the problem was. When she looked again, she knew Ale had forgotten the lyric and you can see her quickly running through the song in her head. She and Ale got to the right part at the same time, and everything was back on track.
So awesome to see Dani and Pau help Ale feel comfortable...Nice to see Ale singing though! This was great
Ale has an incredible voice I know she's not super comfortable singing lead so props to her for stepping out of her comfort zone
I loved the part when ale almost forgot the lyrics of the second verse hahaha cutest moment ever of this video. And Dany being the great big sister encouraging her little sister. Even though Ale doesn’t like to sing but she does a great job when she does sing.

I love how the first 1/4 of the song Ale's all shy and nervous than... BAM!!! she gets her groove and just belts it out... great job of course by Dany, Pau and guest bassist Thomas!!!!!!
What's not to love? You have a Thomas ripping the bass, Pau Pauing on the drums and backing vocals, Danny killing the guitar while having the greatest smile known to man and then Ale singing. Such a great video. Ale has such potential for singing IMO. But, The shyness is there and I understand 100% I love how you can hear the moment she sheds a lot of that shyness during this. Thanks for sharing! Great job Thomas!

Thanks for posting this Matthew! I've been playing bass for 30+ years and have played shows in Philly and NYC for years in both original and cover bands. This was definitely the most fun I've had playing bass ever! Thanks again to Dany, Pau and to Ale for letting me sit in and play her bass AND for (reluctantly! :D) agreeing to sing! \m/

Oh, it was so great to see Ale singing again. It can't be long before she feels secure enough to get more involved in the singing parts. After that Pau has to teach her the jumping (while singing) part. 🤣🤘💖

She can play the keyboards, I prefer to think that Ale *wanted* to sing.

She's always a little awkward, but I love her. I feel ,like she dances like a baby giraffe trying to walk for the first time, but I think she's adorable. She's had such a growth spurt I dont think she's matured into the size of her body. I grew 7 inches between 7th and 8th grade, kind of remember being awkward for a bit.
The youngest sister is the tallest sister. She stands out. I think Ale just needs to build up her confidence in regards to singing lead. It’s one thing to have her bass to hide behind and sing harmonies and another to be out in the lead as the main vocalist. Brava, Ale!

This sounds like a completely different song when Ale sings it. I know the dude playing guest bass was supposed to be the main point here but Ale stole his thunder. Lol!!! We love Ale, her singing is a diamond in the rough. Their next album better have more lead vocals by her!!!! Long live Ale!!! Hail The Warning!!!!!!!!

Don't know how I missed this. Thomas Illgen, a professional bassist, had gifted Ale her 1st couple of Spector bass - if I am not wrong. He had been contributing in this incredible journey of The Warning. Great to see him play with the girls. And of course, Ale singing.

Ale is getting better and sounds a little like Dany.
I think, that is the problem: She has to sing songs, that were written for Dany or Pau. Once she has her "own" song, that has been written for her "type" of singing and that she can work with without trying to sound like/copy Pau or Dany, she will reach a completely new level. When I see her sing the low oparts of Runaway and the falsetto part in Sinister Smiles, I could imagine, that she might become the most flexible and expressive singer of the three. Let's see, what the future will bring... :-)

I ran right out and bought some fuzzy slippers just like Ale's. I still can't sing. I think she is just super talented just like her sisters.
I think it’s great anytime Ale sings lead. I know this was 4 years ago and her voice has improved since then. Ale sings at a lower register and it works for the songs she sings lead on when needed.
Obviously her voice isn’t as refined as her sister’s which is probably why she doesn’t like to sing lead vocals in the first place but she definitely has the potential to sing more lead vocals if she chose to.
As ridiculously talented as this band already is, could you imagine the possibilities if Ale worked on harnessing the full power of her voice?
For now, we’ll just have to enjoy the little gems she gives us with the occasional surprise lead vocals. 🤘🏼
