You can't have 120hz and 511ppi simultaneously on the S20 Ultra, it's either 120hz and 381ppi or 60hz and 511ppi. P40 Plus is more balanced with 90hz and 441ppi. That's midway on hz and just about midway on ppi. I prefer balance personally. Overall display quality is about the same. They're both leading quality.
samsung brings exynos only devices to my country so I will forever avoid samsung unless they started bringing in the snapdragon variant...so for the sake of argument, I'd go for p40 pro
Hi, I own both of them. The quality as of the moment goes to Note 10+. TBH my s10+ camera is still better than that of s20 ultra 5g. The fail focus is so severe that it seems like an edited photo. But if you are looking for quality in details, the image that s20 ultra can produce in bright environment is a beast. Also compared to 30x zoom of mate30 pro, the 30x zoom of s20 ultra is so much better.
In terms of Camera I pick P40 Pro as I used P30 pro before and its camera is awesome. From productivity point S20 Ultra is great in-fact I prefer Note versions as my previous note 9 was very handy.
4:36 wrong, S20 only has a 4x optical zoom, and the Exynos version has issues auto-focusing. Also P40's ultrawide is too narrow, and lack of vertical zoom control in camera landscape mode makes it unusable for single-handed shooting. 2020 is such a effed up year.
P40pro for me.. With Google play store RUclips etc all installed using googlefier. I really can't believe p40pro are selling second hand for less than p30pro... Best phone I've ever had and that was coming from an iPhone 11 promax.
We all know exynos is shit and kirin too but between this two, exynos is way superior in benchmarks. No mentioning that kirin becomes more slower with time.
Ill go with the kirin. On benchmark, exynos are always higher but in the real world usage, kirin is better. I owned p30, mate 10 and s10, s9. Kirin always performs like new even after 1 to 2yrs of usage. But samsung with exynos processor, it becomes slower and slower as the time goes by. My 2 yr old S9 performs very shit nowadays. Even on gaming, kirin gets consistent framerate. On exynos, after playing sometime, framerate goes down. Im not going to buy any phone with exynos processor again.
Why does this video exist? If a person wanted specs, they would read them online, if they wanted spec comparison, they'd read that and if they're too lazy to read, they can play one of countless spec reading reviews, even Saf's, of those phones on RUclips. I have been user of huawei over 4 years. Before I used Samsung, Nokia, Sony, HTC phones. Non of them fullfilled my expectation up to Huawei. My first Huawei was P20 Lite. Since I was so happy with it, I bought P30-Pro. Last month Swisscom had a retail for Samsung S20+ I bought it since it was cheap with this retail and Huawei has a problem with google services. 120 hz with 1080p > 90 hz with 1080+. Resolution is barely noticeable on smaller device let alone P40's size but screen refresh rate is really noticeable. 90 vs 60 Hz however is pretty useless might as well stay on 60 coz thats just almost same.

I prefer the size of the p40 pro compared to other flagship phones. I was a Huawei p20 lite user and when that phone broke down I went and got me a Huawei y5 2019. The smaller phones Are much more comfortable. The screen bezels at front Are getting smaller and smaller so it doesnt matter of big your phone screen is anymore because its just getting more uncormfortable to hold now.

My p40 pro uses screen from another Chinese screen maker called jingdongfang, they make very high quality screens

well there are ways to install GMS, it just doesn't preinstall play store
I prefer the size of the p40 pro compared to other flagship phones. I was a Huawei p20 lite user and when that phone broke down I went and got me a Huawei y5 2019. The smaller phones Are much more comfortable. The screen bezels at front Are getting smaller and smaller so it doesnt matter of big your phone screen is anymore because its just getting more uncormfortable to hold now.

Actually Samsung's 100x zoom is usable, with good lighting the results are pretty acceptable.
Completely false, their is way too much noise introduced at that zoom
