Thanks for this. I grew up in the Kruger. My dad worked for the National Parks as clerk of works. He was in charge of all the artisans that tarred the roads, built and maintained the camps from 1962 till 1995. We lived in Skukuza. My mom taught at Skukuza Laerskool. They are both gone now, but you are driving on roads and staying in camps built and maintained under the supervision of my dad, Carl Grobler. Also called him Karel and his name giver to him by the local people was Korama. Miss this all where I live 'n Cornwall
Thank you so much for the story of your dads !
I bet that was a very exciting way to grow up . Sounded wonderful ❤ I hope someday I will experience this 🙌
Got a lump in my throat reading that
Thank you SO MUCH for allowing us to hear the bush sounds and not drowning them out with soundtrack
The rain scene when you guys ran into to the house is just another level 😂😂
Hey Ed, this is again a winner, this time because of the content. I know this area well, from foot patrols walked for up to 14 days, in '80 & early '81. White socks turning brown were the least of our worries. I'm sitting here in Germany, with my Roberts' Bird Book, wishing it had audio of the bird calls. Man, I would really love to share this experience with you. A sopping wet sleeping bag, and "wet where no man wants to be wet" is an absolute bargain when you can experience the African fauna & flora so close to your own skin (comfort zone). To you and your camping mates, enjoy, appreciate, and MOERSE DANKIE for sharing these beautiful memories/happenings! I am suffering a serious bout of envy (even jealousy) but hey, you have just made my bucket list overflow! Dis sooo llleekkkeerr manne, this is what I define as NEXT LEVEL. Greetings, and "hou so aan, manne"...... thanks guys.
Thank you so so so much Ingo!
You guys are truly blessed to live in a place live this. I really enjoyed the episode, thanks for sharing.
One of the best my mate.....me and the wife busy planning this NOW
Awesome footage Ed as usual. Big thanks. The Kruger looks amazing.
Thank you so much Frank!
Ed, your content is unreal! Makes me feel like I’m back home in the bush. Keep churning out your footage - it never disappoints!
Thank you so much Nikhil!
Ed, awesome work boet! I’ve watched this episode probably a dozen times, it’s just brilliant. Cannot wait for the next Kruger series to come out 😎😎
Thanks a ton!
Beautiful footage as always. Those wonderfully captured nature sounds make the experience so immersive, it is almost the same as being there. Thank you so much for sharing these wonders with us.
Thank you so much Frank!
Nice seeing this place, Punda Maria Gate is 60 KM away from our house, Pafuri Gate is 93 KM away, I love this place
Hi. Thanks Edward
As an avid photographer and fairly new video guy I just love what you guys are doing. Inspired me to get better at my own work too. Equipment does make a huge difference. It does take money to make money they say. I really enjoy the cinematic approach with a lot of the footage. My own little behind the scenes series looks up to yours. Thanks for sharing
Vrek, your videos make me so homesick it’s unreal. “ you can take the girl out of South Africa but can never take South Africa out of the girl “ can’t wait for our next trip.
Thank you Lizelle!
And here is me thinking 73 minutes may be a bit long. Truly brilliant Edward. I was in the Kruger two weeks ago on a visit to South Africa. This was my second 4 day visit as I was there last year. The vision and foresight of Paul Kruger is amazing. I have been to Antarctica with the NZ Navy and in many ways Kruger compares to Antarctica which was also closed off from human development 120 years ago. The world as it was for millennia is right there in Kruger, Antarctica and other places with flora and fauna flourishing because of a lack of human intervention. The world is just fine without us. Visiting Kruger is almost a spiritual experience. All human beings are African as we are all descended from peoples who lived in this kind of environment in Africa. As South Africa and Kruger is to be a regular thing for me I am looking to buy a 4WD, 4X4 or similar vehicle. I am a huge fan of the Landrover Defender but Toyota has also made all terrain vehicles for a very long time with well proven suitability and reliability. In your estimation what would be the best rig, Landrover or Toyota?
Lc300
Thank you so much Mike! Both of them are very very good so it will always come down to personal preference, if I didn’t have a landcruiser I would have a landrover
Awesome footage as always Ed. Your videos are just going from one level to the next level! Brilliant, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip 👌🏻
Thank you so much Dee!
I must have a few cans of beer when watching Ryan's overlanding videos, so I can also drink with you guys when they braai after a long day of exploring.
Busy looking AGAIN!
Edward, I just discovered your channel and I’m hooked! Love the cinematic approach to filming and editing, I could watch your videos for hours!
What an absolutely amazing experience that you have captured and shared with us. The music you chose fits perfectly. What a beautiful place to live. Thanks again for sharing this with us, I really enjoyed it.
Love the work bud. Always nice finding bush videos that just explore our gorgeous land and county 🙌🏽💪🏽
Amazing video. I feel like I am watching a documentary.
Such a beautiful place! Incredible sightings. Looks like it is worth it to come in summer ☀️🌧️ Thanks for sharing!
👌 your videos get better and better. "It doesn't get better than this" 😊 thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much mate!
Ja Swaar. Best one yet, all the way from Ontario Canada. Keep it up.
Thanks Michael!
Super super good, Ed...... Your love and enjoyment of our true nature is great......I relive my many trips through your eyes. Thanks, keep travelling!! 😁

Thank you so so much Mate! 🇦🇺
For sure
Crooks Corner and the entire Pafuri areas makes me feel so nostalgic. My dad loved going to this place and it was the last trip to this place we took together in December 2020 before he passed away 3 weeks later. We even drove to the Pafuri border post. Thank you for capturing it so well and taking me down memory lane.
Thanks Ed, I've been waiting for this part 2
Thanks mate!
What a great video, from beginning to end. Thank you!
Thank you Linden!
Ed , thank you ,it’s a inspiring video. Love all the natural sounds.
Alison
Thank you Alison!
What truly superb photography, sound and narration!!!!! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Thank you Cliff!
Wow Ed! 73 minutes of the Kruger, what a joy! Some "next level" game sightings and some truly superb video work to capture the full wonder of the glories of the northern Transvaal.
If you're not careful you'll have David Attenborough knocking on your door.
Keep up the goodwork and thanks so much.
Your channel is a delight.
Thanks so much Paul!
Thanks for your videos. Love them and the Kruger is a total magical place. Favourite place for me seeing I’ve been there over 40x. My late parents visited in 1947 and fell in love with it and their ashes are scattered at the lookout point at Olifants Camp. I hope I can go back there oneday, and watching your videos is just superb. Safe journeys
Once again your trips are breath-taking🔥Thanks Ed.
Thank you!
Amazing video, Edward. You capture the most amazing scenes. Watching your content from Canada but one day will get there and see the beauty of your country with my own eyes. Please keep producing your content!
Thanks Brian! Will try my best 🙏
YES! What everyone else has said... ditto! Just so wonderful.
Thank you!
Magnificent Ed. Thank you so much. If I ever have the opportunity to come home again this is the trip I would love to do. Thanks again.

Amazing, wow...that sunset! Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks Louise!
Wonderful journey ......👍
We went to Nthakeni in December..we absolutely loved the peace and quiet of the bush there, great suggestion, thanks Edward 👌
this is so beautiful Edward
Our Maroela heroes! And how modest you are....an extremely talented artist. So glad I found your channel after several months of searching (I forgot to write the name down🤦♀️). Really looking forward to your next adventure....best wildlife videos on You Tube. Greetings to our other hero!
Thank you so much for the awesome comment Marinda!
Thanks for another epic video, Edward. Your camera work and sound capture is outstanding. Also cannot be easy when you are on your own in many of the shots taken. Like that besides the game and birds you also capture the little stuff like the insects, chameleons and scorpions. Gives another dimension to Kruger. Some constructive comment if you don’t mind. Would like to see more information given in the trip description to include gates entered, roads taken, stops of interest and campsites used. Lastly you must be one of Krugers greatest advocates. A very special place so please keep it up.
Thank you so much Keith! Will definitely try and improve on those aspects, thanks for the support mate!!
nice video - high quality film good to see
Hi Ed...Im watching this video again....love it.....when will we see a new video again please ? Best wishes you both❣

Stunning video thank you Edward
Thanks Edward for an awesome video.Greetings from Durban.
Thanks Byron, another great episode, look forward to the next one 👍
10:16 "Ah I just love this place! I love this drive! I love this area! I love the Kruger! I love Africa." - I feel like the perfect meme for this is the Joe Biden "this guy gets it folks" meme.
Heh, jokes aside, Ed your videos bring up such a passion for this country and this part of the world. Really appreciate every video you upload and all the effort and money and time you put into it. Thanks for bringing a positive view on our wonderful country in a time when it is so easy to be negative.
Mad props dude!
🤙
Thank you so much Simon!
Thanks Ed for making my weekend much better
Thank you so much!
Hi Ed. Looking at your videos in KNP. Brilliant thanks. We have been living in UK for 10 years now but miss our 8 weekly trips to different camps just to chill. Lived in South Africa for 40 years and was heartbroken to leave our last house in Dainfern. However I just wanted to tell you that about 25 years ago in Crocodile Bridge camp we had to feed a hyena. His name was Ouboi and couldn't hunt so he relied upon visitors for food. He was old and thin so people would feel obliged. Shame. My favourite camp was Mbyamiti then Shimuweni. We always took our family to kruger when they came to visit. I am enjoying your content as I have been binging on Bigfoot. Dankie
Hey Ed - awesome... again. Keep them rollin' please meneer!
If I had seen that black baboon spider - I would've kaked my best jean-pant!!!
Thanks mate!
Hi Ed fantastic video enjoyed every moment.

Wow, Ed. This video is up there, has to be one of your best. Excellent!!!!!!
Thank you so much Mike!
Amazing vid as always, thank you.
The old ellies always remind me of the Ents in Lord of the rings, old and wise...
Thank you Jurgens!
Another awesome episode Ed. Pafuri, Punda Maria is my favourite part of Kruger. Thanks for sharing. Also enjoyed the bush sounds. What an epic last day! Absolutely amazing! Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks bud!

Thank you so much! Greetings from SA
Spectacular!!! Thanks for posting Ed 👍👍👍
Thank you mate!
Absolutely love Nthakeni , we were absolutely blown away by the small things that made it such an enjoyable camp 🙌🏻 absolutely love the video and so keen to get to that part of the world in a few weeks 🤩
Thank so much Rogan!
Best video❤ thanks Ed
I can't believe you walked through the "danger, crocodiles" gate, kept walking and went for a splash in the river. Knowledgeable, fearless or crazy, I'm not sure which!
Fortunately the water was extremely low and clear so I did check before I went down the bank 🙌
just love your passion Ed, & great that you can be solo at times - enjoy - get the marrow out of life !
Thanks Robert!
Beautiful video
Wow Edward!!! Just incredible!
Thank you Auntie Sheila!
Hi Ed. What an amazing Kruger-Video! It just made our day. Looking forward to visiting the Kruger next year once again. What a beauty! Cheers from Germany.
Thank you so much! 🇩🇪
Awesome video, many thanks 👍🇿🇦
Thanks Philip!
Unparalleled wildlife capturing by Sir Bath
Thank you mate!
Wow interesing life you are living Ed
Stunning sunset to close out. Great inspiring series 👌
Wow, what an incredible video! Thank yoU!
Amazing adventure. Loved the upclose and personal with the Kings of the Jungle
Thanks mate!
Great job my man. I can only agree with Frank, the rather loud nature sound really adds to the experience. Some youtubers destroys their content with annoying music and completly leave out the sound of nature, well done!!
Thank you so much Stefan!
Awesome trip and great capture of it as usual Ed!
Thanks Chris!
What an awesome video brother…well done!
Thanks Brother!
Hey bro, we have just arrived back in the UK after a wet trip: Blouberg, Mapangubwe, Klein Bolayi, Nthakeni - Baobab site - Punda Maria and Shingwedsi. Totally washed out but our rooftop tent held up well. Saw no lions, leopards or rhinos. Was an awesome trip nonetheless.
Awesome bro! Those places are always a win!
Sounds are unreal. What a great spot
Thanks!
Wow, this is so cool.. relaxing and stress free.. the best life ever.
Great video..magic photography!
Thanks Robert!
Slap chips. And trinchado. A favorite memory of living in SA.
Your best best video ❤
Loved it!
Dankie Riaan!
Very chill & stunning
Thanks Juan!
I will tell you something very cool. Kruger's grandson delivered a few of my grand babies. He is the best. Distracts them by telling about the park his Grandad created.
Hi Edward Bath! Another outstanding video with very professional production and an amazing content. Magic! Next level!
One of the best entertainment for weekend nights surly is your videos. Actually, it works as terapy for myself, I feel as I was travelling and overlanding as part of your mates. Better than this only be out in the bush. Thank you very much for dedication and profissionalism doing such an amazing material. Legend! Cheers!!!
Thank you so much Legends! You guys are the best!
Beautiful dirt road used. Thanks so much for sharing.
