Boy, that turned out PURTY!!!!love how the blue turned green in the wood. Reminds me kinda of the Earth and the ocean. Hope you are staying cool. Have a great week.
The really cool thing is that the resin didn't turn green, it only shifted to a green light from the harmonizing of the light from the two colors, yellow and blue. It's an illusion. Only the light emitting changed, but the resin is still blue. It's known as "color resonance" when the light harmonizes with another to emit the harmonic color, which is green.
Love the colors you chose to use. To see it bleed into the wood is so beautiful. Seeing the resin on the camera made it feel like I was in the workshop with you! I really enjoyed watching this video.
ITS JUST GORGEOUS!! The center hole doesnt matter to me, the piece is so beautiful! I love the surprise of the green coming out of the blue resin, its an added touch if beauty! The unexpected outcome is a wonderful touch!! Thanks Doug!
Hey Dougggggggg!!!! Wow that turned out amazing and I really love the way that green colour came out on the wood, it was awesome. Thanks again for showing us your awesome talents!
Good morning, Doug. Thank you for the turning video. Sometimes it is like eating a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. And like a box of chocolates, they are all good. See ya next time.
Well I missed the live I am trying to enjoy these weekend without no rain but I am home now Watched the replay hello Doug great job another beautiful bowl awesome colors 💙🩶🤍🩶💙🩶
Thank you Liz, you are not required to be at the Premiere, I do not expect anyone to be there, I am happy that you watched it and made a comment when you could
There's always what you hope it'll be, and then there's what it is. Sure looks like another great bowl to me. 👍👍👍Thanks for the time and effort you put into making these videos. I'll be waiting for the next one.
Reminds me of diving documentaries- Jacques Cousteau, etc. Even the little bubbles in the resin give it an underwater feel, as well as the green of the wood. Lovely.
That’s a really pretty blue. I love how the light always shines through your resin, it reminds me of stained glass. When I did organic designs, I would (as much as possible) do selective cutting. This means putting a sheet of stained glass up to the light or placing it on a light table and picking out an area that resembles a flower petal, the veins in a leaf or the flow of a feather. I always enlarge your photos at the end and look at the swirling patterns in the resin, the wood grain or spaulting. That enlarged detail is always beautiful and worth exploring. Thanks for another enjoyable video Doug!❤
Another nice looking bowl Doug. Love the way it transitions from blue to green. Resin is just like a box chocolate, you never know what you are going to get.
I love watching you turn into Cookie Monster at times (5:50) Pretty little thing when finished; it reminds me of the BMX race track my grandson competes on.
love it Doug, love how it turned green in the grain. had to be boxelder, (the tree that bleeds ) look it up on out of the woods, that's probably why it turned green.
Csodálatos, fantasztikus munka mint mindig. Szép szín és a fa együtt nagyon jól illik. Várom a következő videót. Szép hetet kívánok, üdvözlettel!!!!!🙂👍❤
@@PohlBarnProductions you’re most welcome Doug . I thought it did. You’re stepping up your game big time. I’m I’ve really enjoyed watching you and your channel grow over the years. You’ve came so far. Take care Doug
That is really nice. The green is an interesting effect, even if it was unintentional. Not bad for something from the firewood pile. Looking forward to your laser review
Might not have been what you were looking for but it is eye catching. I was thinking that it reminded me of a sandbar sticking out of our city's river, which is a bit low right now. It might not look like a river, your bowl, but it does have an aquatic look to it and I like it. I often wondered how well a laser would burn on resin or even on a resin top coat. I suppose you want it quite defined and sharp. But maybe think about it like a subtle water mark on a photograph. It's there if someone's looking for it, but not distracting. Good turn, Doug. I enjoyed the different opening sequence.
it's been said that lasering on epoxy resin gives off toxic fumes but what doesn't anymore, I think it really just melts it, Thanks again for watching Jay
I Like it! The unintentional green, and the blue, go so well together! Maybe the wood had some strong yellow going on? Anyway, it's great! Phil Anderson, from Shady Acres, has done a review on his laser engraver, which might interest you. Keep up the beaut turning!
I love how the blue is almost transparent!!! It’s absolutely gorgeous!!!
❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you Barb, oh wow I didn't know that,
It's a lovely little bowl, Doug. Those little bubbles and spots remind me of fish swimming in deep water. Great video, thanks.
