✨️ Vegetable soup recipe:
4 peeled and diced potatoes
1/2 onion
1 cup diced carrots
1cup chopped celery
1 tbsp minced garlic or garlic clove or powder
1 tbsp better than bouillon (chicken or turkey)
1/4 cup parsley
1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
3 cups water
Boil all veges, once boiling, reduce heat to medium. (keep steady simmer/vent lid) Simmer 20 minutes then remove from heat.
For the white sauce:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper
4 cups whole milk
Melt butter in pan, add in flour to make a paste, add salt and pepper, cook 1-3 minutes, stir consistently. Slowly add milk one cup at a time. (dont dump at once or it will be clumpy) Stir consistently on medium heat. Boil one minute then remove from heat. Garnish with cheese, bacon bits and chives.

I so agree with you Marie on not pushing the bed issue. Why change something that is working so good for you & especially Jackson. His brother is in a bed right next to him. He'll let you know when he wants a "big boy bed" too! Blessings Marie. 💞
I told my daughter not to worry about the small stuff. They WILL potty train and they will give up their bottle/pacifier when they are ready.
I feel boys are harder to potty train than girls!
My two daughters were easier than my son! Like you said - just do it when they’re ready !!

I agree. Nolan wasn't ready until he turned 3.
My boys are both teenagers(18,14) now and I have a 2 year old daughter. My oldest has autism so he didn’t potty train tun about 5 and my second one at 3. You hit the nail on the head with waiting until they are ready. My daughter shows slight interest in the potty but not sure she is totally ready.
Yes you can't force them to potty if they are not ready. 💓

I didn’t think it looked bad to begin with haha, I guess we all have different situations. I have 3 sons, and 2 always had to share a room. It’s hard fitting all their stuff (crap) into 1 closet! And shoes….omg…the older they get the bigger those shoes get lol. And they seem to be everywhere!! You’re doing the darn thing mama!! ☀️☀️☀️

Great organization and inspiration. As long as Jackson isn't climbing out of his crib I think you should let him sleep there. You know him better than anyone. You'll know when he's ready for another bed. When my kids started climbing out I knew it was time. The soup looks delicious. Thank you for the recipe. You have a beautiful home 💗😊

Hey Marie, When I was ready to potty train my boys my mom told me to put a few Cheerios in the toilet and tell them to try and pee on them. It actually works....Lol. I would take my boys to the bathroom every time I went to the bathroom myself. I'd sit them on the potty and tell them to go potty like mommy. I'd clap and make a big deal if they went potty. I hope this helps.

Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I love Ashely’s channel and seeing all of her content including the moving content. I love your channel and your content as well. ❤ I feel like a kid can’t be potty trained until they are ready. If they’re not ready it will be harder to train them but when they’re ready it will be so much easier. ❤ I love watching other people declutter their houses and seeing everything that they can get rid of that will help organize their houses. ❤ I enjoy shopping my pantry and only buying groceries that will help use up something in my pantry, fridge, or freezer. I do enjoy buying some things in bulk still if me and my family use it a lot. ❤🥰

My 23 month old keeps taking off her diaper and pants so I feel like we are being forced w potty training 😂 my oldest is now 9 he was not ready at 2 we were stuck home for 3 days and it did nothing. He was officially potty trained at 4 years old! We kept trying and trying he just wasn’t ready
Please share any boy potty training tips you try along the way! I have a little guy a few months younger than Jackson and could use the advice.
We keep the crib and the diapers until age 3! Like you said, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!
You are so right when it comes to potty training my son was exactly the same didn't show any interest what so ever you can't rush them into it like you said they will definitely let you know my son was dry in the day age 3 he is know 4 years old still wearing nappies to bed but we are getting more dry nappies than wet ones 😊😊 lots of love from UK ❤❤
I always waited until it was summer for potty training so I wouldn't have any carpets in the house and the kids could be in a pull up so it could be easily taken out.
You could also use the over the door shoe storage rack for your children depending on the size of their feet regular size would hold 12 pair. You might be able to get one pair in each slot. Just a thought.

My husband trained my son he was potty trained by 1 1/2 for my son daddy was the moon and stars and all he did was take him in with him and showed him how and he picked it right up next thing I knew he was on the toilet backwards on his knees it was so funny but it worked and fast my 3 girls on the other hand were nightmare they wanted no part of it at all !!!!

I'm definitely a bulk shopper 😆 it's definitely cheaper. But I shop for the whole month. I couldn't imagine shopping for only a week and something happens and only having a week or a week in half worth of food for my babies 😅 but I understand some of us have small places and can't store a ton. Whatever works for everyone's family is what's best. Great video ❤

Girls are so much easier to potty train. When trying to potty train my grandsons, it was way harder & took way longer. Good news though, they won't go to college in a diaper. Lol! Been my experience that boys let you know when they are ready. When my younger grandsons saw their older brother use the bathroom, they decided on their own that they wanted to do the same. It was easy after that. The little boy I babysit saw my grandsons use the bathroom & he did the same. Even cried if you tried to put a diaper on him. He was instantly potty trained. I bet Jackson will be easier than Nolan.
Yes Jackson has a big brother to help him learn to potty also. 😊

My daughter is a month older than Jackson and she has been poop trained since before she turned 2, she wears pull ups all the time now and she uses the potty when we take her but it is taking her much longer to grasp the feeling of needing to peel and telling us she needs to go to the potty than it did pooping… I don’t understand it 😂 we got a portable folding potty for the car bc when she says she has to poop, you better stop, even if it’s one the side of the road… my son is 13 in a few weeks but he was the EASIEST to train, he took his diaper off one day and that was it… so yes, when they are ready, they will get it. No need to force them bc it will only stress you out, our pediatrician said she doesn’t even start talking about it with her parents until baby is 2.5-3 so she has no concerns about my daughter especially since she has already got the hardest part down… every kid is different.
It's funny how kids are all so different. Riding around with a "to go potty" is the best idea for potty training toddlers. 🤣

I totally agree with waiting to potty train when they are ready. My oldest 2 girls potty trained just fine at 2. My 3rd daughter was not ready at all. Ended up having lots of anxiety with it and it ended up being a nightmare and being really destressing to her. So I gave up and decided to ignore the people trying telling me what I needed to do and did what my child needed me to do. I waited another year and literally she was completely potty trained within a day and was SO easy!

Yes, I keep an extinguisher in my home and we also have plenty of bandaids, first aid products, plenty of batteries and we have flashlights as bright as a lamp.

My son is 2 and a half and still in his crib, we have a bed and mattress ready to go for him but I’m still waiting a bit!
I think society wants us to progress our babies to everything so early.. toddler bed, no paci, potty training. I think we just need to slow down and not rush the baby stage. It already goes by fast enough. 😔

Hey, girl! My way that worked for my boys to potty train was to have them watch their Daddy and then also, chocolate chips as a "reward" for my youngest. He'd get 1-2 for peeing and 2-3 for pooping. HAHA We also just let them run around naked so we could see when they had to potty. Good luck, and you are so right. Mama always knows best!

Towards the end of summer I found a bag of clothes for my two daughters I kept from last year !! I was happy I found it and they could still use it for a bit since it was still hot !!
I'm glad I found his clothes before he outgrew them. The warm pajamas are just in time for this freezing cold weather this week. 🥶

I feel like I took my daughter out of her crib to early and sleep was so difficult so I’m keeping my baby boy in his a little longer lol And I agree not forcing potty training, I got so frustrated with my daughter but when she was ready it happened in an instant and it was so much better! I’ve noticed in this video we think so much alike 😂 thanks for sharing!

@@MarieLoveAsbury I am like you buying in bulk it does not save us money my husband always wanted to go to Sam's all the time and buy all these big things and we did it a few times but then at the end I might as well take some of that money and flushed it down the toilet it didn't get eaten or the kids got so sick of it they stopped eating it and I had to throw it away

Absolutely about you’re the Mom. Don’t listen to anybody. I potty trained my boys at 3. It took me a weekend and we were done. No need to stress about. That was over 30 years ago. 😉❤️❤️
It took me a year with Nolan since I started him at 2 and he simply just wasn't ready until he was 3.
