I certainly see reasons for a sideboard, I used to play yugioh and it was neat to have one, I do feel since you charge energy, having some flex cards in your deck for certain matchups is nice, so I can see the argument since you draw a lot in this game and can charge cards not needed in the matchup allows for a lot of tech cards already. But personally I’d enjoy a side deck
Completely agree. Sideboards are a nice way to further express you skill with what tech you bring and when you use it. Especially if/when they introduce dual color leaders.
I would love to be able to sideboard. Especially in a meta where you know some matchups will just be bad for sure. Right now all you can do is charge cards that don't help you in a matchup and pray their deck bricks somehow
Wouldn't this kill rogue decks? I've never played with a side board so idk but i would think the top decks just get even better. For example i like running ginyu every once in awhile and just hope i dont see board wipe cards. If the better decks can swap out cards then the lacking decks like ginyu will never have a chance. So wouldn't it just make the gap between top decks and mid decks even wider?
Yes indeed. Especially when leaders are revealed. It can be done like Flesh and Blood where sideboarding can be done before the game. Therefore, BO1 is also possible.
For me side deck on dbz is a bad choice make some matchs impossível to win make yellow for exemplo need make a choice use the control deck for have a vantage x blue but the match x green is more hard or take the aggro version have a bad match x blu but smash green with side deck yellow perma win x green always go be impossible for green play and x blue he swap for the control version and have vantage too and have a lot off other exemples
What? That would only make sense if there was also a best of 3 mode. Online, for example, you have no idea which deck you will play against next. And even if that were the case, you could still change something with your sideboard in the best of 1 before the start. That would just make the game more boring. This means that the already superior decks can focus even further on getting their thing done safely aganst you.
@@philplaystcg420 Even if we say it doesn't make it worse, it simply doesn't make it any better. Since it applies to both anyway. So to put it bluntly, no matter how you spin it, in my opinion it only makes sense in the best of 3.

Side boarding in a best of one is criminal
Why is that?
That’s it’d be called PRE siding instead of

If they want to do side boarding you have to change the from best of 1 to best of 3 in order to do so. Dont know why master have to be honest
There is a best of one pre side option. It is certainly possible
@@philplaystcg420how does the sideboard BO1 work? Do you get to see the opponents leader first? Or are you guessing?
In masters you get to see their leader first.
One of these of masters would be amazzzinnnnn 🥹🙏😘
Like, a masters video? In general? 😅
@@philplaystcg420 haha bout sideboarding in current meta n so on 🤩
Completely agree! Would love to see a sideboard but still B01! Very happy to see you made this! 😌

@@Mydudemaylee that is fair, I guess rogue decks could see some hits ...but rogue decks could also tech things in to shake things up 😅

Great Video! Keep up with the great fusion world content!
I don't like the idea, bad matchups will be worse if they could sideboard pre match. Just charge your death cards.
Couldn’t agree with you more. love your takes 👍 💯 agree

I was legit just getting ready to type the same thing half to see someone else understands lol
How? I don't see how it would make it worse. DBS masters has been using sideboards and it's perfectly fine
