So... are you able to still get the 3500 suburban through GM? Or you taking the 2020 1500 suburban and putting it on a 3500 replacement rolling chassis?
Is GM cutting this because of the new shared chassis rumors for the next gen burbs with the pick up's? I wonder if GM is bringing back the burb HD for consumer sales with the next gen.
You can look through some of our earlier videos at the California compliant trucks the DEF tank is in the exact same place it is on a pickup hanging down there oddly under the passenger door
The tires are 295/55/20 (one size bigger than max, yes they rub) the rims are Black Rhino (the offset is to much) That was all done by the dealer he got the SUV from, to bad because know he is hunting down some OEM 20's to get it to not rub
I believe duraburb will do the conversion once you pay for the hardware (engine plus tranny) and or get a doner vehicle. They'll charge you for the labor or any other conversion parts needed that the doner vehicle will not get you (or need replacement).
Well seeing as the swap was done profesionally and not in someones back yard a shop wouldnt have any reason to fail the vehicle. Worst case you pay someone to pass it.
In addition we've found over the years the 2007 model year is often exempt because it was a transition year for all three GM Ford and Chrysler and it's too confusing for the inspectors LOL
@@F1234W you might wanna re check you facts cause you want a cp3 over cp4 alot of people do the Conversions on the lml or try & extend the life with a fast pump
You can drop ship a 3500 Suburban straight to them from GM Commercial, the 2500s were/are more available buy the 3500s are rare but exist, mostly Govt applications.
Actually chevy only made this 3500/ 1ton suburban in this 2015+ generation of suburbans. The 3/4 or 2500 model was dropped in when this body style was introduced.
3:54 is when he starts it up
That is some attention to detail sir LOL
Hey Erick, Nice to see videos of you and those beautiful Suburbans.
Sweet build!
That Suburban looks nice
So... are you able to still get the 3500 suburban through GM? Or you taking the 2020 1500 suburban and putting it on a 3500 replacement rolling chassis?
Yes that's exactly what we're doing are we are still building the older body styles as well
so happy to see a video! do you guys have any ready to go for sale on the lot?
No just periodic consignment SUVs for clients moving to newer models
Nice looking

Not on the table as of now so we are moving on with our P/U frame mod
Next gen will have the 3L duramax
Do you do any of the GM trucks/pickups?
Yes our shop truck is a 2015 1500 Sieara
Are these able to be driven in California? I live out here and I would like to get one in the future but from what I'm told, it's not legal out here
Yes we will be offering the new 3.0L diesel and they will comply
Why not put a 3.0 duramax in the 1500 suburban?
Coming Soon
Where do you guys mount the def tank?
No def tank. Its deleted.
You can look through some of our earlier videos at the California compliant trucks the DEF tank is in the exact same place it is on a pickup hanging down there oddly under the passenger door
Is there a reliable way to find out when a used duraburb is sold? Do they get posted on this channel?
They sometimes do, look through the older videos.
Yes just subscribe and when they come up we just post them here
I have been looking for extended tow mirrors for my burban for the longest, where can I purchase those?
R Dukes boost auto parts
Reno Gardiner Thanks, as soon as I typed the comment above I say a suggestion video by boost about the mirrors. Purchased them last night!
@@rdukes5779 Let us know how much, these are Trail Ridge from 1AAuto
Do you do a duramax Tahoe
yes just google Duramax Tahoe
So can you guys build Duramax 1999 OBD K1500 Suburban???? Hint hint....
They won't. They do OEM level conversions, not just engine swaps.
Yea we only go back to 2007 but that would be a cool build, its been done many times
So there will no longer be any Suburbans being made?
Yes but only half ton suburbans
Perhaps just the 2019 not the new 2020
Erwin Nez no...they discontinued the 2500/3500 suburbans.
What wheels and tires are on the burb?
The tires are 295/55/20 (one size bigger than max, yes they rub) the rims are Black Rhino (the offset is to much)
That was all done by the dealer he got the SUV from, to bad because know he is hunting down some OEM 20's to get it to not rub
What's the price to convert one of these about. I have a 2015 burban
I believe duraburb will do the conversion once you pay for the hardware (engine plus tranny) and or get a doner vehicle. They'll charge you for the labor or any other conversion parts needed that the doner vehicle will not get you (or need replacement).
There's no flat conversion rate. You have to call them about what you want.
@@rcairforceone yes of course, I was just looking for a general idea
@@petermasci1728
I remember seeing some along the lines of $60k after it's a said and done and that's on the LOW side
Price tag????
125,000 to 145000 depending on drive train and options
So how do you get the platform to covert it to a 3500?
It's called buy a new 3500 frame from GM
It was OEM but now we will use CCSB P/U and mod the frame
CAN I PUT THIS MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION IN A HUMMER 3
Yes but it is a radical swap, Dan at PPE did years ago, had about 100K in it. Lot of after market to pull it off
So my Duramax Yukon XL daydream is still possible?
What year, they only go back so far.
Long as you got the $$$
No D.E.F.?
No, its deleted.
Can you guys put a Duramax in a 2011 Tahoe??? Possible client here??
If it's 2007 or newer, yes they can
Yeper
how do you get it to pass inspection?
Well seeing as the swap was done profesionally and not in someones back yard a shop wouldnt have any reason to fail the vehicle. Worst case you pay someone to pass it.
They are in Florida, there are not inspections here. But they can build fully emissions compliant vehicles if the customer needs it.
Some states don’t require emission testing on diesels
In addition we've found over the years the 2007 model year is often exempt because it was a transition year for all three GM Ford and Chrysler and it's too confusing for the inspectors LOL
@@DuraBurbinc would this truck pass inspection in new jersey?
Is this oem it aftermarket
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🇺🇲 wish I had the $$
Why cp4 over cp3?
In the diesel community the cp3 is a ticking time bomb haha it can fail and get metal shavings throughout the whole fuel system.
@@F1234W you might wanna re check you facts cause you want a cp3 over cp4 alot of people do the Conversions on the lml or try & extend the life with a fast pump
I might have those switched then 😅
You sound bored in every video.
3/4 ton and 3500 are two different vehicles. Chevrolet doesn't make a 1 ton Suburban.

Yes and oddly enough even though it got an 11,000 GVWR it still uses the same frame as the 2500,
That's not a duramax, it's a Chevrolet!
LOL OK
