If that was at night on a call, that dude in cuffs is getting waxed. “He’s going for my gun!” Something happened similar when a cops holster got stuck on a car mirror, so they killed the unarmed handcuffed guy.
That weapon can’t fire without the trigger being physically depressed. I suspect there must’ve been a foreign object in the holster with the fire arm, perhaps a cuff key on a belt ring and lanyard that inadvertently ended up in the holster simultaneously with the firearm. This would explain how bending over might create a discharge of the weapon, because something attached to the belt is making contact with the trigger inside the holster.

Well, it definitely didn’t look fully seated. I don’t know if the rest is true. I still don’t see what the hell inside of a safariland holster could pull the trigger even if it’s not fully seated that would be to say that every sig p320 will fire as you seat it in a safariland holster.
So- you can see the cover over the gun. And the thing that sig points out is a torniquet/mount. Those are a very common modification made by cops and I believe the company that makes the majority of those mounts is called RDR Gear. It did go off by itself, and they did a very poor job at covering
Not sigs being notorious for firing on their own whilst having zero safety mechanics either. The only firearm that will make the "a firearm can't hurt anyone if placed on a table untouched" not applicable.
SIG is the one that’s careless. Not being seated properly has never made my Glock discharge. That’s what a trigger guard is for. The 320 has been known for this since they released them.
What I don't understand is that just because the hood wasn't down on the lol 3 retention holster there isn't anything in the holster that would activate the trigger to fire. Like any other holster it's an empty crevice that a firearm can be seated in
i’m not convinced it wasn’t fully seated. yeah, the hood is off, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t fully seated. plus, after it fires, the officers arm hits the good and it goes down, implying that it was at least fully seated immediately after firing but also displays the handgun could be fully seated with the hood off. and by the way, the hood being off isn’t in and of itself unsafe. its simply meant to cover a red dot from debris so it isn’t occluded after a draw.
I like how the situation that was about to unfold was halted by the misfire. It was about to go down then everyone paused and looked around like "what was that!?"
I've carried a sig all day every day for the past 8 years. I work on My truck do farm work cut trees run through the woods. I've never had It's just fire for no reason and I carry it in the c***Py sig holster that came with it
For everyone who thinks police are well trained in weapons they aren’t. My brother in law is in law enforcement and he told me they have very little weapons training. VERY LITTLE. They only need to go the range once a year for a few shots.
I love when Sig gaslights people into thinking that Sig's poor QC on the trigger mechanism they have been working for almost a decade trying to fix is still not fixed....and infact it is operator error rather than that.(Remember there are Lawsuits at Sig rn) The US Army if wasn't following strictly price per unit and old military doctrine they would've gotten the glock 45 and had a good handgun
Uh no. The gun went off by itself. Being seated in the holster should not make a difference anyway. Any holster design that has ANYTHING in the travel path that may hit the trigger is a holster that should never be allowed on the market. I’ve also heard people saying the holster was for a Glock. That’s BS as well. Try it for yourself if you don’t believe me. The P320’s dimensions are larger than the Glock and it won’t even go into the Glock holster to begin with. Sig needs to address the real issue, which is somehow allowing the firing pin to come forward and strike a round in the chamber without the trigger being depressed.
Brother had his gun flapping around the holster apparently. Gonna complain about a “unintentional” discharge when you can’t even be bothered to holster your weapon? Guns have never been fool proof…
There’s also videos of the sig cross rifles having discharged on the early models. I’ve seen them recreate that neg discharge more than one time. They did recall them and fix the issue. They should have done more testing before releasing them. So it’s not just the 320. 🤷🏽♂️
If the P320 was really going off on its own wouldn't someone have made a new seer that doesn't slip? Also, wouldn't all these police departments scrap their pistols and switch to a different one? I just find it strange that no one has tried to resolve the issue, and in my opinion that is because there is not an issue at all.
There will be an internal investigation, and there will be a finding of no fault on the part of the officer involved. The officer will most likely be placed on paid administrative leave for the duration of all investigations, and receive a promotion and pay raise when the case is swept under the rug.
Just out of curiosity, any of you boys ever actually see a weapon discharge itself? I've only seen mishaps occur when people are involved. I've had a 1911 go three round burst, but that was 100% my fault. Gotta install those triggers correctly and make sure everything is snug + a quarter turn.
That's not a retention hood, it's a tourniquet. There are close up images of the departments holsters and video analysis done showing the actual retention hood is closed over the pistol. Sig is wrong here.

Thank you🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@@jeffanon1772I’m LE range instructor and it’s beyond frustrating trying to get our patrolman to train. They just don’t care at all
not at all, yet people want to defund what already isnt funded
My favorite is the guy wincing and plugging his ears _'after'_ it's all over!
I shot my pistol next to a wall and had my hearing protection wasnt in all the way. I couldn’t hear out of my right ear for at least a day.
In the Movie Terminator 2 the main actress lost her hearing permanently in the elevator scene using blanks.
Guns are very loud indoors. I’m sure his ears did not feel good lol
Hes not trying to plug his ears hes checking his ear because they are probably ringing like hell
Well, it definitely didn’t look fully seated. I don’t know if the rest is true. I still don’t see what the hell inside of a safariland holster could pull the trigger even if it’s not fully seated that would be to say that every sig p320 will fire as you seat it in a safariland holster.
Cop: uh George I dink my whistle bent oof by its elf. Uh I'm dumb
It’s a p320 of course it went off by itself
Because you know😂
So- you can see the cover over the gun.
Careless!
SIG is the one that’s careless. Not being seated properly has never made my Glock discharge. That’s what a trigger guard is for. The 320 has been known for this since they released them.
@stevesherlock5334 you carry with your Block not seated properly?
@@morocomole4567Not on purpose but shit has happened with some less desirable holsters and still no discharge.
@morocomole4567 when I carry, it's secured in my holster. Yes, Absolutely Careless.
I love when Sig gaslights people into thinking that Sig's poor QC on the trigger mechanism they have been working for almost a decade trying to fix is still not fixed....and infact it is operator error rather than that.(Remember there are Lawsuits at Sig rn)
The US Army if wasn't following strictly price per unit and old military doctrine they would've gotten the glock 45 and had a good handgun
Anyone else notice them picking up the guy already in handcuffs by his feet? I’m sure that’s typical protocol for transporting someone in handcuffs.
Legend has it that this cop doesn’t want nothing to do with Sig anymore.
Everyone loves a desk pop
😂😂😂😂
Sig keeps denying this but there are multiple cases of of the P320 discharging while holstered.
They have a striker safety and a disconnect safety, but neither of those will stop this scenario
Brother had his gun flapping around the holster apparently. Gonna complain about a “unintentional” discharge when you can’t even be bothered to holster your weapon? Guns have never been fool proof…
That pistol swore it heard an acorn drop
My sig p320 has set next to my bed for years and never once shot at me on its own
I have 3 and never had any problems with them...
While Sig did have that issue, that cops gun is hella fucked in that holster and I have no doubt that’s why it went off.
There’s also videos of the sig cross rifles having discharged on the early models. I’ve seen them recreate that neg discharge more than one time. They did recall them and fix the issue. They should have done more testing before releasing them. So it’s not just the 320. 🤷🏽♂️
Weird how you never hear about other companies guns going off.
it's unacceiptable to have guns that goes off by itself. I think the government should step in and mandate safe guns.
Sig had a recall on that problem in the early makes. So it is possible
Sig was like, "Git gud bruh"
If the P320 was really going off on its own wouldn't someone have made a new seer that doesn't slip? Also, wouldn't all these police departments scrap their pistols and switch to a different one? I just find it strange that no one has tried to resolve the issue, and in my opinion that is because there is not an issue at all.
" Here's a Nambu Type 94. It should be a little safer " 😂
He popped his cherry with that desk pop💀💯
It's Connecticut police that sums up everything
Ok so if it wasn’t seated in the holster, what touched the trigger? Was there something inside of the holster ?
The cops tried to say they didn’t do anything wrong….. lmao
Since the contract sig is fuckin up big
The thousands of videos really expose these dangerous CLOWNS.
That cop made a decision not to holster that firearm properly he needs to lose his job and be charged for that.
Is an ad the same thing as a inadvertent contact?
There will be an internal investigation, and there will be a finding of no fault on the part of the officer involved. The officer will most likely be placed on paid administrative leave for the duration of all investigations, and receive a promotion and pay raise when the case is swept under the rug.
All that bs I don’t care about if I lose my job so be it I’ll just get another job but you can never get another life so thankfully everyone was okay
find it curious how only cops seem to have these issues.
Let's not forget the guy holding the weapon on his hip
It doesn't matter what really happened, until the cops make up the scenerio😂
Doesn’t it have an exposed transfer bar like the 🇯🇵Nambu🇯🇵… Which would also quite often go off on its own?
Sig said “skill issue” to the police.
That's not a retention hood, it's a tourniquet. There are close up images of the departments holsters and video analysis done showing the actual retention hood is closed over the pistol. Sig is wrong here.
.... unless it was modded w a hairpin trigger i dont see how this happened... the amount it was 'unseated' shouldnt be enough for trigger contact..
There is zero issues with the Sig P320 pistols, it is nothing but user negligence designed to ruin Sig reputation, i have several P320 since their release zero issues
