I had a machine shop press the CB stem into the ZX triple and then just bolted it on. It does not have steering stops. The turning radius is reduced, but only in like parking lots and driveways when turning around. Regular riding is great. If you go to "All Balls Racing" web site they will list all the front ends that will fit your bike. You dont even have to swap the stem, just buy thier conversion bearings. Good luck.
did the 636 front end fit into the frame well or was it difficult to make it work? i have an 81 cb750c and am thinking about putting on a new front end but i don't know what is compatible if that makes sense. your bike looks great though, nice work!
I think you can use 900 pistons, not sure though. If you want to learn everything about these bikes go to CB1100F.net. Tons of info there. that is where I learned how to do everything.
Custom means just that, I made it. I trimmed the sides off that tail peice. I cut the seat pan down and cut all the faom out of the seat. I had the seat recovered and fastened the trimmed down tail to the seat and made it into a one peice solo seat design. It is a little rough, but I like it.
thanks a lot for the reply sir , awesome job :) from the colour of the bars i guess these are pro tapers but which bend ? thanks again bike looks baddass :)
HI, nice job !, i have a 823cc to but i have some difficulties with te carburetors settings, can you help me, i'am looking for needles, rich screw and jets size, cause i have 2 2in1 exhaust and BMC air filters. Is it necessary to have an oil radiator ?
I think it looked better before, but I bet it is a lot more fun with those upgrades. Great job.

I own a 94 vmax painted as the punisher. I'm your huckleberry.
This is SWEET!
BADASS Honda, but I think I'm gonna leave my 1980 cb750f stock.. Just my preference. Honda made some really good looking machines in the 80's!
very cool
my first street bike!!
Nice work patching that all together. What kind of mod did you need to bolt on that 636 front end?
Kerker pipe??? What kind of exhaust is that?? Thanks. Mind blowing build!!
I had YOSHI 4 into one pipe on the bike in that video. That was like 10 years ago haha. I now have a stainless steel RSC replica pipe on the bike
Get your carbs balanced, it'll take care of that soft knocking noise coming from the clutch.

Wiseco 823 big bore kit.
Not bad. No GT550 though.
Thanks . Does the combination of 750 + 900 pistons work or is it better to go wiseco ?
custom tail looks so good , any chance to find them online ? thanks

Did you use cb 900 pistons for the big bore kit ?
What year gixxer carbs are those? I'm trying to find some that will specifically fit my bike (Also a '81 CB750F).

How did you get the 636 stem to work? what combinations did you have to get?
Had the CB stem pressed into the 636 triple clamp by a shop and bolted the frontend on.
Sounds like you have punished your lungs ...Must be hard work walking around that bike and talking at the same time.
