Haven't built it yet.. However, Blood Lance was my overall favorite build last season because of the self sustainability of it when paired with Temerity (for the Barrier on Overhealing) or Blood Moon Breeches. It wasn't very efficient for the content I was playing, though so I kept repeatedly swapping my builds trying to find the most efficient thing. So happy to see it back!

You might be missing the temper on amulet "Casting your ultimate restores 70 essence" He also has a GA essence per second on boots + a lot of % ressource generation
There are 3 ways: 1. You use the aspect of potent blood on rings, with that you never run out of essence but you will lose big dmg from offensive aspect. 2. You temper the +essence per blood orb on rings, get lucky hit vulnerable on rings instead of bone prison, use Hemorrhage to regenerate essence if you dont have Blood wave. 3. Get essence per second on boots and helm, resource cost reduction on rings and offhand

Excited to try this.... Also, i've looked through the paragon like 5 times and refunded my points and tried over and over again, but i always seem to be missing 1 point?! Am i dumb?!
I'm having a really hard time with resource management on this build. I've had to make sacrifices to power just to keep up sustainability of damage because it doesn't take many blood lances to completely drain my essence. But it is a fun build that has a more active style of play that I enjoy over the more passive play style of a minion build.
the paragon board on mobalytics, always missing 1 point, am i doing something wrong? it seems its using 226 points instead of 225, can you please double check that

I tend to use the 3 most useful boards first and then make a few attachment boards, so I only have to reset at max 2 boards for different builds. But I don't know why they just don't put an X on the board so you can delete a whole board at a time.
Very cool build, definitely enjoying it but struggling to get some of your dmg numbers... part of it is that I haven't gotten Blood Moon to drop yet but my overpower dmg numbers seem to peak around 5M or so... whereas I think I saw had an occasional 30M? My stats are similar to yours (90% crit chance, 950% crit dmg, 3300% overpower dmg)
What do you think of using BloodSeeker's Aspect instead of Rathma's Chosen - it seems to give me much more damage... routinely getting 10-15M which I don't think I saw with Rathma
I'm using your blood build and it is good, though I'm still only able to push Tier 61 at the moment even with ubers on. I haven't fully Master worked my gear and my over power is 3197. Can you show us a really good Necro build to kill Lilith easily?
@@P4wnyhof I did a little bit theory crafting based on yours and going to try out a couple of changes: 1) changed "Blood Mist" to "Corpse Explosion"; 2) Changed "Starless Skies" to "Sacrilegious Soul"; 3) "Mutilator Plate" to Embalmer Aspect (30% blood orb when consuming corpse); 4) clicked on "Flash Eater" (x40% after 5 corpse consumption) on Paragon; 5) changed "Gravekeeper" Sigil to "Control" (x20% to CC'd enemy). The idea is to boost dmg by consuming corpse, x40% from Flash Eater and x9% from "Fuled by Death"; Possibly change "Scrilegious Soul" to the updated Cadaverous Aspect for another x30%, based on which play style is easier.
@Pnyhoff please make blizzard allow us to keep GA when enchanting.... Talk about quality of life. Also having pets pickup GA 1 OR 2 OR 3 loot would be amazing!!!!
This looks weak. I'm currently running Shadow minions build and wanting to find a new build as I'm bored but I can run t106 pit against 199 enemies faster than you can run against 101s.

Nice build! I was struggling with essence as others have stated. An easy fix, on the non Uber version, one of the rings calls for Aspect of Inner Calm (more damage while standing still). I switched this for potent blood (consuming blood orbs grants essence). Because the build spawns so many blood orbs… tendrils, blood wave, etc, you never run out.

I tried something similar to this, seen some 20mil overpower crits in the training room, but my essence regen, attack speed and damage reduction was trash. Couldn't even do a Pit80 efficiently. I had all my offensive tempers to give me critical strike damage granted to me by my Rogue. Saw your vid and swapped corpse tendrils for bone prison instead, still had issues with the other things. Glad you mentioned a build for people without the uber uniques. My attack speed was just to low to make the build work and I ran out of experimental gear in my stash to re-do everything. Either way the shadow mage build im using that you made is S tier indeed and just trying blood for fun as my secondary build until the season ends. Be really cool to see this build do well in Season 5 along side the Bone Spirit potential meta.
i have copied similar build too from a chinese site, about 20-30m overpower crits too, the blood lance is just beast this season lol i think the essence regen ring is necessary so we can continue shooting blood out lol

I'm very new and currently both trying to decide between necro and werewolf, but specifically I'm trying to make my blood necro as "Blood Knight" themed as possible because I'm an edge queen and just found out about them lmao, right now I have Blood surge, tendrils, decrepify, blood wave, and reap (for sword/weapon use flavor primarily) And I have an iron golem to compensate for the lack of a transformation But this seems also REALLY good, and based on the gameplay of BK I saw, they also have a lot of splitting blood lances flying off 🤔 Do you (or anyone else) have any suggestions? My werewolf is also BK themes but imagined as if they were part WW, using rabies and shred I can't decide between the two because I'm a sucker for transformations, so it feels like if I could mash my blood necro together with the werewolf transformation that would feel pretty close to a BK or at least a mixed class with the BK 😂😅 Sorry if this is too long and super lame 😅
Just a little confused on some of the optimal gear stats. The mobalytics guide for the build calls for different stats than what is shown in the video. As an example- the gloves. The guide shows Attack Speed, Crit Chance, and Crit Damage - but you are rocking Overpower Damage and +Core Skills in the video. Would you recommend a pair of GA +4 Blood Lance, Attack Speed, Crit Chance or Damage gloves?

you have to find the marksman finesse temper on a rogue alt. Then you can put that temper on a ring, give it back to your necro, and boom- extra crit :)
They fixed the pet for the sacrificial glyph but not bone prison. The glyph doesn't work while bone prison is active. Beside that, lots to love about the build. I was building something similar to test in the PTR and came across the video for some ideas. The new Crown of Lucion is going to outpace Shaco for this and most other builds assuming you can figure out the DR elsewhere.
Following this build and I'm only lvl 93 so paragon isn't complete, but I'm having trouble maintaining Essence. Initial thoughts...what am I doing wrong?
So I've ran this . Clears 101 fast but the boss damage is straight garbage. Spend 3 minutes just to run out of potions and do next to no major damage. Even played with aspects and have the overpowers hitting between 20 and 120 mil . 40 -60 average. My gear is strong , not all tempers are right but that can't be making that much of an impact, solo target damage just fails. I'll keep toying with it cos I love blood lance necro. And can level my gear a bit more , try to perfect it. I can see high tier pits in a team ... but solo , needs work

Only lvl 65 trying this build. Had to swap for the volatile blood orbs for the time being bc i cant generate enough essence fast enough and ultimate cooldown is still too long to spam. But that helped a shiiiiit ton. Just spamming BL generating tons of orbs and then blood mist into the explosive orbs. Still need better gear but so far it crushes. TY
see i always liked the lidless wall bonestorm build with blood orbs and arms and ring that gives vulnerable for 2 seconds, tendrals making massive blood orbs as i just run through the pit

I’m playing on Xbox, how would you get your lances to spread out when firing? The Xbox tends to auto target one enemy and only aim at that one until it’s dead.

still waiting for Blizzard to give us a Pure Minions... u know.... what a real Necromancer should be.... good to see that other builds are getting some love but it would be great if they cared about the people that want just Pure Minions, a walking arsenal of death while we curse and debuff
@titanx6160 I disagree. Every build requires an effort, hence calling them "builds". I played a minion build, and it was very easy to start and even more easy to make very powerful. Every minion had their part, Golem was the boss tackling powerhouse, and the mages and warriors were amazing add clears. It's a pure minions build with curse and debuff capabilities. Put in minimal effort and see the results, or just keep complaining here instead 🤷♂️

We don't have a real Necro in this current state of the game. Ive spoken to many players that agree with me. Unless there is a secret and ppl are not sharing it then I'll admit I'm wrong. But we don't have a pure Minion Build.

Get all your altars of Lilith. You get paragon points from a few of them.

I had the same problem. I had to remove a max life blue node and place it in the last Yellow node.

Is the tempering on the amulet for “resource regeneration after ultimate” from a different class? Around the 11 min mark in the video.
You probably found the answer already but it's the Necromancer Invigoration temper recipe.
Isnt % to cursed enemies better since it scales everything instead of blood overpower which is only a fraction of all the dmg?

Technically a Sword - Practically the wand will have you trigger the freezes more often!

Is this not a build that you can do at like level 57? I tried this but I was constantly either on cool down or out of essence lol.

You can only temper crit damage If you have a rogue. Store it in stash take it out with rogue and good luck xD

whirlwind, leap, etc. Without a curse, you arent a necro so might as well go to the other talent and paragon trees.

Int does more dmg vs %life also loosing out on aspect and tempers.
Get a 2hand with grasping veins aspect 50crit and x%100 crit dmg

@@strangearcade not really. It s all the golem doing the work and it' requires a lot of effort to set it up and. There is still no real pure Minion.
@titanx6160 I disagree. Every build requires an effort, hence calling them "builds". I played a minion build, and it was very easy to start and even more easy to make very powerful. Every minion had their part, Golem was the boss tackling powerhouse, and the mages and warriors were amazing add clears. It's a pure minions build with curse and debuff capabilities. Put in minimal effort and see the results, or just keep complaining here instead 🤷♂️
@@strangearcade for some players they just want a pure Minion build not a golem power house that giga hits. I'm talking about a real Necro from d2. We don't have a real Necro in this current state of the game. Ive spoken to many players that agree with me. Unless there is a secret and ppl are not sharing it then I'll admit I'm wrong. But we don't have a pure Minion Build.
